😢 Ricky Needs Help 😢

We are taking in a 7 month old Boxer mix. We call him Ricky! He was hit by a car and has a broken leg. We want to provide him the best medical care possible, and need your help! We are a no-kill, non-profit organization and recieve no government funding. We can only afford to help animals in need with your generous donations!

He is also going to need a foster to stay with while he recovers. If you are interested in fostering, please call us at 812-858-1132, or message us here on Facebook!

Warrick Humane Society is currently having their online silent auction! It ends Sunday at 8pm. All money raised in this event will go towards our new shelter!

Please help our friends at Warrick Humane Society raise the money they need for a new shelter!

We have partnered with KISS 106, 103 GBF, My 1053 WJLT and 99.5 WKDQ For Our One Day Donation Drive to Build Hope For The Future Of Rescue at the Warrick Humane Society! Our Goal is 5,000 Donations of only $10 that will fund one room of Kennels for the New Shelter Project for WHS. Kennel Space is one of the largest issues we have with our current shelter. It was built over 25 years ago when we averaged about 200 Adoptions yearly. Fast forward to now when we average between 800-1,000 Annual Adoptions & lack of kennel space has become one of the biggest reasons a New Shelter for WHS is needed. Your $10 Donation will make a world of difference for the Future of Rescue at WHS! Pictured in this video is most of our 2024 Adoptions through the end of July all adopted out of our current facility that has 26 Big Dog Kennels, 15 Small Dog Kennels, a Kitten Space, & a Cat Room. 🌟Help Support WHS With Our $5 Donation Drive To Save More Lives this July 5th🌟
Today is one of the hardest days in Rescue every single year. We receive countless emails, phone calls, & FB messages all day for found or lost dog alerts, & surrender requests from all over the Tri-State. Our staff is doing their very best to balance assisting with the onslaught of messages while providing care for all of the animals currently overflowing at our shelter.
🌟Now more than ever we need a larger shelter to meet the growing demands in our community & we can only do this with your help🌟
We are currently operating with only 26 large dog kennels & 15 small dog kennels. A New Shelter would help us to save an additional 400 homeless pets in the Tri-State from local Animal Control Facilities. Help us Build Hope for the Future of Rescue with a New Shelter this July 5th!

Join us for our Critter Camp Summer Sessions! Our next one starts TOMORROW!

Come join our Volunteer Coordinators as they teach all about what it's like to work at Warrick Humane Society! They will also be helping kiddos learn all about what it takes to own and care for an animal as well as what it means to be a humane society!

There will be multiple different sessions depending on your child's age. Please see the different camp sessions available below.
-June 24th-June 28th for 10-12 year olds from 8:30AM-11:30AM.
-July 15th-July 19th for 8-9 year olds from 8:30AM-11:30AM.
-July 22nd-July 26th for 10-12 year olds from 8:30AM-11:30AM.

The cost is $125 per session and includes a Critter Camp T-shirt.
