We’re back in action after giving the horses a well deserved respite. Now a new show season is upon us and Trumpeter has hit the ground running with new divisions, new challenges, and new clients! CVF and WEC in December did not disappoint!

Cornus Alba D’Or and Stacey were RESERVE CHAMPIONS at both shows in the 3’6” Amateur Owner divisions! Stacey also continues to compete in the adult medals, and the pair earned 5th out of a large field in the Non-Pro National Derby.

Dolphin Blue and Eilah have stepped up into the 3’3” Juniors and 3’3” medal classes! They’ve had lovely rounds, and top placings at both CVF and WEC in the new season!

Chryseis Z has moved into the 3’ Greens this season and has proven to be ready for the challenge; handling the beautifully Christmas decorated WEC main hunter ring like she’s been schooling there all her life, and earning top hack ribbons in large 20+ classes!

Ciano and Christie were back at it in the Intermediate Jumpers at CVF, winning a class, and earning top ribbons in her division and schooling trips!

New Trumpeter team members, Conan and Lillian, earned great ribbons in the .75m and .85m at CVF in their first outing in 2 years! We’re so excited for them!

Now we’ll spend time with our family, friends and fur-babies for the holidays before heading off to our next show in January!

Friday Trumpeter riders spent the evening celebrating their year end accomplishments with the OPHA organization!

Chryseis Z and Lindsey were CHAMPIONS in the Very Green Hunters!

Dolphin Blue and Lindsey/Eilah were CHAMPIONS in the 3’-3’3” Green Hunters!

Cornus Alba D’Or and Stacey were CHAMPIONS in the Amateur Owner Hunters!

Stacey was CHAMPION of the NARHA Medal!

Stacey was CHAMPION in the Adult Flat Equitation!

Dolphin Blue and Eilah were CHAMPIONS in the Children’s Hunters!

Ciano and Christie were CHAMPIONS in the Intermediate Adult Jumpers!

Zanzibar 74 and Cassie were CHAMPIONS in the Amateur Jumpers 1.10-1.15!

Cornus Alba D’Or and Stacey were RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the Performance Hunters!

Eilah was RESERVE CHAMPION in the Children’s Flat Equitation!

Eilah was THIRD in the Fox Smith Medal!

Stallone BZ and Anna were 6th in the Low Adult Hunter and 6th in the Low Adult Flat Equitation!

Overexaggerator and Kelly earned a Silver Level OPHA award in the Limit Rider!

We are SO SO proud of all our horses and riders for their hard work and dedication this season. We look forward to next season with new goals, and new hurdles!

What a way to spend a Friday night! Trumpeter attended the Brave Horse Circuit awards banquet!

Dolphin Blue and Eilah were CHAMPIONS of the Children’s Hunters 14& under!

Dolphin Blue and Lindsey/Eilah were CHAMPIONS of the Green Hunters 3’3”-3’9”!

Cornus Alba D’Or and Stacey were CHAMPIONS of the Amateur Owner 3’6”!

Chryseis Z and Lindsey were RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the 2’6” Baby Green Hunters

Cornus Alba D’Or and Stacey were RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the Performance Hunters

Stallone BZ and Lindsey/Anna were 3rd in the Brave Horse 2’6” Hunters

Ciano and Christie were 5th in the .80-.85 Jumpers

Overexaggerator, aka Landon, is a 16.1, 6 year old, TB gelding. His sweet, in your pocket, personality is as laid back as can be.
While Landon can go around with a competent rider easily at 3’ with room to move up, he can also take a joke and be forgiving with a green rider. He has comfortable gaits and an easy jump. At the end of the day all he wants is a hug and a cookie!
Landon has plenty of tri-colors to his name in his short show career and is easy to prep. He loads, hauls, clips, and stands for the farrier like a gentleman.
He can be turned out alone or with others. Likewise, Landon hacks out well in groups or alone, and has trail ridden well with limited experience.
Priced to sell in the low 5s, Landon’s sweet personality makes people fall for him easily. Landon would also be considered for lease to the right situation.

What a great time had by all at Capital Challenge at Prince George’s Equestrian Center in Upper Marlboro, Maryland!

Eilah and Dolphin Blue qualified for the NAL Children’s Hunter Finals! She also dipped her toes and competed in the 3’6” 13-14 Children’s Equitation Division! Eilah was calm, cool and collected at her first finals and we’re definitely impressed and proud of how she handled the pressure.

Stacey and Cornus Alba D’Or competed in the “Wisest” Amateur Owner Division. She had lovely rounds and her young horse held his own at his first huge, elite show.

Lindsey and Dolphin Blue competed in the 3’3” Greens. They laid down some solid rounds and had some scores in the 80s.

All in all riders and horses learned lots and had great opportunities at this elite competition. They’ve already begun to set goals for next season’s finals! Thanks Pat for all the training to get your riders and horses prepped and ready!
