Finn, aka The Goldfinch, is a 14 year-old, 16.3 Appendix gelding. He is an in-your-pocket guy who loves attention.
Currently successfully showing in the 3’ Hunter divisions, Finn has an easy big stride and automatic lead changes.
Recently, Finn was Series Champion in the 2’9” Non-pro and Series Champion of the 2’9” Equitation division with his amateur rider.
Sadly for sale due to rider going off to college! Priced at 20,🥕🥕🥕, Finn is ready to teach his next rider!

Brave Horse 8 wrapped on Sunday! And what a great show we had!

Cornus Alba D’Or and Stacey were CHAMPIONS of the Amateur Owner all ages, winning 4 of the 5 classes! RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the 3’3” Performance Hunters. Winner of the Ariat medal. And 3rd in the Jr/Am $10,000 USHJA National Derby!

Charlie and Addie were CHAMPIONS of combined Pony Hunter division! Winner of the M&S/USEF Pony medal. And 2nd in her Classic!

Ciano and Christie were CHAMPIONS of the Intermediate Child/Adult Jumpers! They also won 🥇 their Classic!

Dolphin Blue and Eilah were RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the Junior Hunter division! Winners of the Dover medal. And 2nd in the Jr/Am $10,000 USHJA National Derby!

Overexaggerator, aka Landon, is a 16.1, 6 year old, TB gelding. His sweet, in your pocket, personality is as laid back as can be.
While Landon can go around with a competent rider easily at 3’ with room to move up, he can also take a joke and be forgiving with a green rider. He has comfortable gaits and an easy jump. At the end of the day all he wants is a hug and a cookie!
Landon has plenty of tri-colors to his name in his short show career and is easy to prep. He loads, hauls, clips, and stands for the farrier like a gentleman.
He can be turned out alone or with others. Likewise, Landon hacks out well in groups or alone, and has trail ridden well with limited experience.
Priced to sell in the low 5s, Landon’s sweet personality makes people fall for him easily. Landon would also be considered for lease to the right situation.

Brave Horse VI wrapped today!

Cornus Alba D’Or and Stacey were RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the 3’6” Jr/Amateur Owner division! They WON 🥇 their Ariat medal and were also THIRD 🥉 in the USHJA National Derby out of a large field!

Chryseis Z and Lindsey were RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the Green division!

Dolphin Blue and Eilah put in great trips in the 3’3” Jr/Amateur Owner division! They WON 🥇 their USEF Hunt Seat medal and were second 🥈 in the NHS/Hammel medal! They were also second in the 3’3”-3’6” Combined Jr/Amateur Classic!

We’re very pleased with everyone’s progress but now it’s time for some serious R&R for our horses and riders before we head to Kentucky in August!!

Chagrin Hunter Jumper Classic Rated Week!

Chryseis Z and Lindsey were CHAMPIONS of the Greens!

Dolphin Blue and Eilah were RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the Junior Hunters! They also WON 🥇the USHJA Jump Seat medal and 2nd 🥈 in the Junior Classic! The pair were also Eighth in the National Hunter derby in a field of 32!

Conan and Lily moved up to the 1.0m Jr/Am Jumpers and were RESERVE CHAMPIONS!

Cornus Alba D’Or and Stacey were RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the Amateur Owner division and 4th in their Classic!

Westeros and Jessie were RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the Adult Hunters and 5th in their Classic!

Charlie and Addie were RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the Large Pony division!

I’m A Big Deal and Maggie had nice rounds in the Intermediate Jumpers and were 4th in their Classic!

Chagrin Hunter Jumper Classic local show wrapped yesterday.

Charlie and Addie were CHAMPIONS of the 2’9” Equitation division and RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the Combined Pony Hunter division! They also won 🥇 the Pony Hunter Classic!

Chryseis Z and Lindsey were CHAMPIONS of the Combined Green division by clean sweeping the division!

Westeros and Victoria were RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the 2’6” Special Hunters!

Conan and Lily had great trips in the Intermediate Child/Adult Jumpers and were 3rd 🥉 in their Classic!

I’m A Big Deal and Maggie moved up to the Intermediate Child/Adult Jumpers and had great learning trips, and earning 7th in their Classic!

Dolphin Blue and Eilah put in great efforts in the Combined Jr/AO division! They were 7th in the OPHA Derby! And 3rd in the Taylor Orlowski Medal.

Westeros and Jessie moved back up to the 3’ Adult hunters and laid down some really nice trips! They also earned 6th in their Classic!

Overexaggerator and Kelly showed in the 2’ Equitation and Novice Rider division with success! It’s their first outing in a year and they handled it like pros!

Divide and Conquer week at Trumpeter Stables!

Junior Hunter Finals:
Dolphin Blue and Eilah were so poised and brilliant at Junior Hunter Finals (a first for both horse and rider!)! They were 9th out of 72 in their Classic round! 22nd in their Under Saddle phase and 27th in their Handy round. These placings earned them 18th overall out of 72 teams! We are so proud of how far Eilah has come and the team her a Dolphin have blossomed into!

Brave Horse IV:
Chryseis Z and Lindsey were RESERVE CHAMPIONS in the 3’ Green division! They were also 2nd 🥈in the USHJA National Hunter Derby out of a large field!

Cornus Alba D’Or and Stacey were RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the Amateur Owner division! They were 7th in the USHJA National Hunter Derby! Stacey also WON 🥇 the Ariat medal!

Charlie and Addie made HUGE improvements and have grown so much since their last show with us! They put in fantastic efforts in the Large Pony division and Open Pony Equitation division! They were also 5th in the Marshall and Sterling/USEF Pony medal and 5th in the WIHS Pony Medal! We’re excited to see them grow!

Brave Horse 2 started off cold and rainy, but ended up beautiful and sunny!

Cornus Alba D’Or and Stacey were CHAMPIONS in the Combined Jr/AO 3’6” division! They won 4 of the 5 division classes! Stacey was also 2nd 🥈 in the Ariat medal and 3rd 🥉 in the THIS medal!

Chryseis Z and Lindsey were RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the USHJA 3’ division! They also had great rounds in the 3’ Greens and WON 🥇 the USHJA Open National Hunter Derby!

Dolphin Blue and Eilah had great rounds in the 3’3” Junior Hunters. Eilah was also 2nd 🥈 in the NHS medal and 2nd 🥈 in the Hunt Seat Medal! Dolphin Blue and Lindsey were also RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the Performance Hunter division!

New barn mates Charlie and Addie had great rounds in the Lg Pony Hunters and Lg Pony Equitation division! We’re excited to have them with us!

Westeros and Jessie put in lovely trips in the USHJA 2’6”, Low Adult Equitation and Low Adult Hunters after 11 months out of the show ring!

Our next outing will be back at Brave Horse in a couple weeks!

We’ve officially begun outdoor shows! Brave Horse 1 was FANTASTIC for our Trumpeter horses, riders and trainer!

Chryseis Z and Lindsey were CHAMPIONS of the Combined Green division, and CHAMPIONS of the 3’ USHJA division. They also WON 🥇 the USHJA National Hunter Derby their second time out! The team was awarded the “Style Award” by the judges during the class!

Dolphin Blue and Eilah were CHAMPIONS of the Combined Jr/AO division and WON 🥇 their Classic! They were also 2nd 🥈 in the USEF/NCEA Hunt Seat medal and 4th in the USHJA Jump Seat medal! The team also finished 8th in a large USHJA National Hunter Derby class!

Dolphin Blue and Lindsey were CHAMPIONS in the 3’3” Performance Hunters!

Cornus Alba D’Or and Stacey were RESERVE CHAMPION of the Combined Jr/AO division! Finishing a mere 0.5pts behind Eilah! They WON 🥇 the Ariat medal! The pair was also 6th in their Classic!

We are so happy to be back outdoors! We’ll be back at Brave Horse again at the end of the month!

This past weekend was the CVF Winter Series Championship show! Trumpeter riders worked hard all winter and earned several awards!

I’m a Big Deal and Maggie were SERIES CHAMPIONS of the .60 Jumpers AND .70 Jumpers! They were also SERIES RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the Low Schooling .85 Jumpers!

The Goldfinch and Ana were SERIES CHAMPIONS of the NonPro Hunters AND 2’9” Equitation division!

Chryseis Z and Lindsey were SERIES CHAMPIONS of the Green Hunters AND the USHJA 3’ Hunters!

Conan and Lily were SERIES CHAMPIONS of the Low Schooling .85 Jumpers and SERIES RESERVE CHAMPIONS of the Intermediate C/A Jumpers!

Dolphin Blue and Eilah were SERIES CHAMPIONS of the Junior Hunters!

Cornus Alba D’Or and Stacey were SERIES CHAMPIONS of the Amateur Owner Hunters!
