A difficult read, but it's reality. 💔 This isn't a rescue problem, it's everyone's problem. Ask us how you can help and get involved!

I know there will be those people who become upset with me posting this . I don’t care . Keep scrolling . THIS IS THE REALITY of what is happening in our communities . Rescues and shelters can NOT keep up. This is a cat with frostbite on their paws who froze to death waiting for help . It is 14 degrees out , the shelters aren’t enough for a domesticated cat who hasn’t had to always live outside . Blankets don’t keep them warm , they kill them quicker . How many people do you think saw this cat and turned the other way hoping someone else would help or simply don’t care enough to even hope . “ I have cats I can’t bring a cat in.” So do I! If you see a cat in need tag your it ! YOU LIKELY ARE THAT CAT’S ONLY HOPE! I can’t count the help calls and messages this week alone and rarely does anyone want anything other than for me to pick a cat or cats up - Do you know what it’s like to have to say no I can’t help to as many as I have to ? Can you imagine doing everything you can every day to help as many as possibly feasible and people still being mean to you because it’s not enough because you didn’t help them right away? I have SIX cats currently on my porch … MY PORCH! I am feeding and housing them till it’s their turn. I will never catch up but I am going to die trying till my last breath. PLEASE I AM BEGGING THE COMMUNITY TO STEP UP AND DO YOUR PART- this isn’t a rescue problem this is everyone’s problem . ask me how you can help today !🥹💔

Look at the difference in just a month's time! Little Pebble has been treated for sarcaoptic mange, and his fur looks phenomenal for such a short amount of time! He's in a foster-to-adopt home, but we're pretty sure he's never leaving. 🥰

We are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Jackson Abla, the 15 year old son of one of our beloved foster families. They "foster failed" Albus from FSF, a black and white Pit Bull mix, and he had a special bond with Jackson. Please keep his family in your thoughts during what can only be described as a huge and unexpected loss. Meet Hattie, a young Shihtzu that believes she's a princess in need of "servants" to pamper her every need. 🤭 She gets along well with other dogs, although most aren't up to her standards, and enjoys puppacinos. To apply go to shelterfriends.org 💙 If approved, we'll set up a private meeting.

Her $200 adoption fee includes spay, vaccines, deworming and microchip. She's located near Oklahoma City and we allow out of state adoptions to qualified applicants.

Meet Healy, a 10 month old (43lbs) Doodle came from the streets of OKC, neglected, matted, covered in fleas and scared. Our rescue stepped into get him and another pup, Marcus, off the streets. We spent hours grooming the mats, and mostly shaving them off. They've been fully Vetted, and he is now ready for adoption. He is kennel trained. We are working on potty training, he will be your shadow.
