Pet Boarding Manager/Assistant

2/26/2025 starting $22.00 / hour. Wage will go up with experience
Now hiring an animal lover for our dog boarding facility and farm. Shifts are Weekdays and Saturdays/Sundays.
Responsibilities include:
• Attending to and caring for dogs and ensuring each guest is treated with respect and dignity
• Customer service including answering the phones, booking appointments, new client interviews and more.
• Supervise activities of multiple dogs throughout the day. Monitor closely for any potential conflicts or escalations and redirect or remove one or more dogs from the situation as needed
• Feeding dogs and other livestock, administering medications and monitoring any health conditions
• Follow all standards of safety with regards to handling guests
• Mowing grass and handling other miscellaneous tasks as needed
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
We pride ourselves on a clean and organized environment. There is a lot of cleaning.
Qualifications:
• A passion for animals and animal care, especially dogs. Willing to learn animal behavior to ensure their safety.
• Focus on safe and gentle handling.
• A passion for cleanliness and attention to detail
• Good team work and willingness to assist in other areas of the farm as necessary
• Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
• Must be comfortable being around dogs of all sizes and physically able to handle dogs of all sizes and to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Can work immediately upon hiring.
Previous employment or experience with dogs, or horses preferred but not required. We will train you! Full time and part time positions available. Due to the nature of our business, weekend and holiday shifts are required. This is a rewarding, fun and fast paced environment with room to grow in a career in the animal industry.
