Our granddaughter, Kaelyn, and her boy, Zorro, were featured in the Moore/Oakridge Elementary school newsletter. So dang proud of Kaelyn & Zorro! Kaelyn & 8 other local talented kids are currently training with alpacas at our ranch to compete in this year’s Alpaca Blastoff show on November 9th at the Grady County Farigrounds in Chickasha, Ok. Several of these kids will also go on to compete at the TxOlan (Texas) show, followed by the National Alpaca Show in March 2025 which will also be held at the Grady County Fairgrounds - first time to be held in the state of Oklahoma! Free public admission for all of these shows!

What a great weekend we have planned! We will be at The Santa Market on Friday & Saturday with our booth full of alpaca fiber products, novelties & souvenirs, and our Alpacas will be there for free interactive fun & pics!! Free admission & best of all, the show proceeds benefit the local OKC Alzheimers Association!!

Ahhhhh, the sweet sound of liquid sunshine!!! Can you hear the vegetation sighing with relief!! And of course, the alpacas are in the barn. The sprinkles from a hose are great, but not sprinkles from the sky! They’re so silly!
