This makes it so the rescue doesn’t pay for grooming and so that we as a small business don’t lose out on our overhead expenses by providing free grooming (which we always would for the rescue❤️).

Just a brief reminder of our 24 hour cancellation policy- this will be fully enforced in 2024 no exceptions.
When you don’t show up, we don’t make money and if we aren’t given notice we don’t have time to fill your spot.
If less than 24 hours notice is given we will ask for a $20 no show fee per dog.
Second offense will be full cost of the groom appointment. Any other time after that will also be full cost of the appointment so that we are not losing out on income.

We are a small family operated business, your support means the world to us.❤️❤️

Even though it’s not state required that your dogs be current on Bordetella to be groomed I cannot emphasize enough the importance of having the Bordetella vaccine for your pup right now. I do not recommend bringing your dog for grooming if they are not current on it.
I don’t recommend taking your dog anywhere with constant exposure to other dogs(dog park, daycare, boarding, etc) unless absolutely necessary until the vets are able to figure out what this disease is and how to properly treat it.
If your dog is coughing or acting ill do not bring them for grooming.
Please keep your fur babies safe ❤️❤️❤️

"They look, sound and everything about them feels like it should be a kennel cough type of disease, but they're just not responding like a normal kennel cough would," South Des Moines Veterinary Clinic veterinarian Melissa Beyer said of the sick dogs.
