๐Ÿ‰Watermelon Fun Fact!

๐Ÿ•ธWebbing/Bee Polination
Bee Marks and Pollination: The webbing on a watermelon, those brown, rough patches, is often the result of bee pollination. When bees pollinate the watermelon flowers, they sometimes leave tiny marks from where they've touched it. These marks develop into webbing patterns as the fruit grows. The more webbing a watermelon has, the sweeter it tends to be, because extensive pollination typically indicates that the fruit has received plenty of nutrients. So, bee activity directly contributes to both the sweetness and the unique appearance of the watermelon!

Duck Eggs vs. Chicken Eggs ๐Ÿณ
Duck eggs are larger in size than chicken eggs. The whites in chicken eggs have a higher water content (more runny) than the whites in duck eggs. Duck eggs have larger yolks and a higher yolk-to-white ratio than chicken eggs.

We have both. Yes, they are different from each other, so I am gonna break it down quick:

๐Ÿฆ† Duck eggs are GREAT for baking.
๐Ÿ“ Chicken eggs have thinner shells.
๐Ÿฆ† Duck eggs are larger and richer than ๐Ÿ“ chicken eggs.
๐Ÿ“ Chickens are prolific layers year-round if taken care of correctly, but ๐Ÿฆ† ducks are as well with much less light necessity.
๐Ÿฆ† Duck eggs stay fresh longer because of their insanely thick shell.
๐Ÿฆ† Duck eggs contain 30% more protein and a different type of protein than ๐Ÿ“ chicken eggs, so if allergic to chicken eggs, most can eat duck eggs and vice versa.
Ounce for ounce, ๐Ÿฆ† duck eggs contain more Omega-3, Vitamins A and D, fatty acids, choline, folate, and iron than ๐Ÿ“ chicken eggs.
๐Ÿ“ Chickens lay well for about 1-2 years, then dramatically start slowing down production, while ๐Ÿฆ† ducks lay solid for 4-5 years before they slow down.
๐Ÿ“ Chicken eggs come in a lot more colors.
So there ya have it!
