Come and adopt one of our 2 month old Lab/Doberman/Hound Mix puppies! All are energetic, some are independent and some are just cuddle bugs. All are fixed and up to date on vaccinations and just waiting for a family of their own.
For more information on one of our animals or how to adopt please contact an adoption associate Tuesday through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Sunday noon to 4 at 828-733-2333 or email [email protected]. Hours may vary depending on weather or holidays. #shelterbowproject #adoptdontshop #puppiesforadoption
Linus is shy when he first meets someone new. It takes a little time for him to warm up but once he does he is the happiest and most lovable friend. He loves giving kisses and all the attention he can get. Linus can run around by himself forever but also does well with other dogs. Linus's favorite part of the day is feeding time!
UPDATE "Fluffalo"
UPDATE "Fluffalo": I can’t believe this month already marks one year since we brought home Fluffalo, now named Winnie.. She quickly became friends with our older pup, Kuechly. Then 6 weeks after we brought home Winnie, we also adopted Lola from Billies Buddies in Charlotte. They are the most perfect little trio! Winnie has grown up to be the sweetest girl, she is a sucker for a belly rub and loves to cuddle too. Winnie is so loved and we could not imagine life without her 💜

Potato, 1 year old, was bought from a pet store and brought in after 8 months for adoption. Potato loves alfalfa cubes and apples. They say he is well socialized.
Its tag you're it as long as Chewy and Nori are at it!

THANK YOU SO MUCH to the Animal Science students at the Central Cabarrus High School!!
FROM EMAIL!!:
Good evening! Last month the Animal Science students at Central Cabarrus High School in Concord held a "no-dog show" to benefit the Avery Humane Society. Students designed new dog breeds and created life-sized models of them. We held 2 shows during the school day and had students vote for their favorites in each group. The dogs were narrowed down to the top 7 in the school and were paired with a teacher or administrator for our fundraiser. Students voted for their favorite dog/staff combination with donations. We were able to raise $300 for the care of animals at the humane society. I've included pictures of the top dogs and a video of the winning staff enjoying a puppuccino. The check will be mailed to you this week.
