“ dogs and cats will eat anything!”

"My dog eats socks all the time and always poops them out," has been heard in veterinary clinics all around the world. Some times even our largest of friends needs a little help passing small items. You never know what will get stuck.

If you see them ingest it, get them in quick to hopefully avoid an expensive surgery. Some times your veterinarian can inducing vomiting to get the object out of the stomach, and some times you need an endoscopic procedure to remove it, or even surgery. Watch out for vomiting as a symptom of a possible blockage.

Our friend here has no regrets and was not overly thrilled with seeing all his hard work removed.

This is a kitty named Shakespeare. He was seen for an abscess on his face. He received a long antibiotic injection and laser therapy. Our laser addresses pain, swelling, and inflammation. It also has an anti microbial effect on the surface of the wound. He wore his laser glasses to protect his eyes.

This little dog was found in SummerGrove on July 4th. The caretaker has been posting to find the owner. Female Yorkie and no microchip detected. Help find her way home!!!

In addition, make sure your pets collars are fastened properly and have up to date identification attached.

Always assume there will be fireworks in the days surrounding the holiday. Stay diligent & be safe, everyone!

So …. Eddie decided he wanted some catnip. So he pushed the package off of the counter. Then he spread it around on the floor and rolled in it. The only thing Olivia could do was laugh at him as she swept up the mess.

Every 3 years Crescent Veterinary Hospital voluntarily undergoes an inspection that most veterinary hospitals do not do. Only 10 - 12 percent of all veterinary hospitals are accredited by AAHA. AAHA stands for American Animal Hospital Association. The great news is we passed. We have been accredited since 2009. Everyone hit the like button to show appreciation for our efforts.
