‼️28 ADOPTABLE DOGS STILL RED LISTED AT COWETA COUNTY ANIMAL SERVICES‼️

This is TYLER. He, along with his brothers, Steve and John came into the shelter in February as part of a cruelty case. Although they all came in in February, they did not make it to the adoption floor for several months, and now they face euthanasia. All three are still babies at well under 10 months of age. The need some training (which Pits and Pals will provide for free), but are all good, friendly, affectionate dogs that love to play.

We have less than 2 weeks now to find adopters, rescues or fosters for the remaining euth listed dogs. Please come out to meet them...adoption fees waived, and you do not need to wait until the adoption event on Saturday. The shelter is at 91 Selt Rd., Newnan, GA and open from 10-4:30 every day except Sunday.

‼️CONTINUING CRISIS AT COWETA COUNTY ANIMAL SERVICES‼️

Although we had a good day on Saturday, 8/10 and 8 dogs were adopted/rescued, only 4 were dogs on the euthanasia list; 32 dogs still at risk!!

Meet Steve, John, Tyler and Claire. These 4 sweet siblings came into the shelter as puppies on 2/6; but could not be made available for adoption. They were being held for a court hearing as part of an alleged cruelty case. No one could see them or interact with them until the case was settled. Sadly, as often happens, it was almost 6 long months until the case was resolved, and the siblings could finally meet the public. So little time on the adoption floor, through no fault of theirs, and now all of them, except Claire, face euthanasia on 8/27 if they are not adopted/rescued. Lucky girl Claire found her forever home, but her brothers are still waiting. Could you be their person?

Urgent at Coweta County Animal Services, Newnan, GA

6 lives are still scheduled for euthanasia if they do not find rescue or adopters by close of business, Thursday, 7/25. Although the Commissioners extended the time frame, they have not changed the order to euthanize. These are adoptable dogs whose only fault is landing in a county shelter that is too small for the needs of a growing county!

JAMIE has gotten very little attention, and yet he is the smartest, most trainable boy...eager to please and friendly. He has been at the shelter since just prior to Christmas 2023. He will not be at the shelter for Christmas 2024. Please come meet Jamie.
