Camp Peach Pals brings back the joys of childhood to a unique population of children touched by cancer through an urban camp experience at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Atlanta.
We are excited to share that Richard King and Luna will be starting a new READing program at Sara Harp Minter Elementary School this school year! We are so thankful for the outpouring of support we have received from the administration. The school principal created this cozy reading nook, purchased this comfy bean bag chair, and an extra soft bed for Luna. The kids are going to love it!
The Georgia Commission on Family Violence hosts an annual conference for over 600 multidisciplinary professionals working in the fields of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. CAREing Paws is glad we were able to provide some therapeutic experiences for their amazing attendees who work with trauma on a daily basis.
đ¨ New therapy team alertđ¨ Kate Frost and Pippa the Siberian cat! Kate said - Iâve done pet therapy in the past with my dog and since having Pippa I recognized her demeanor is right for therapy. Itâs also a wonderful way for me to bond with Pippa while helping others.

Annie, the therapy dog partner of our founder Melissa Saul sadly passed on June 12th after 13 amazing years of accompanying Melissa on countless visits as a certified therapy dog. She also assisted Melissa in evaluating new teams for CAREing Paws and enjoyed teaching new pups what itâs like to be a therapy dog.
Thank you Annie for your impact on those you visited and those you helped teach to carry on the torch. CAREing Paws wouldnât have been the same without you.

Last month two of our teams had the opportunity to partner with Purchasing Power on National Dog Rescue Day for Mental Health Awareness Month. More than 100 people attend the event and we are so glad that Sadie and Chip were able to share some of their puppy love!
