These services include the boarding, care, and feeding of animals collected by NBPD Animal Control. The Newport Beach Animal Shelter is excited to announce that Hendrix, a 2-year-old Brussels Griffon mix, is now available for adoption. Hendrix is relatively new to the shelter, and while we are still getting to know his personality, he has already shown himself to be very sweet and easy to walk on a leash.

Though we’re still learning about his preferences with other dogs, Hendrix seems to enjoy attention from people. If you’re looking for a friendly companion, Hendrix could be the perfect match. Meet Falkor! This sweet 4-year-old terrier mix just arrived at the shelter, and he’s already winning over our volunteers. He came in pretty matted, but after a much-needed grooming, he’s looking great and feeling much better.

The Newport Beach Animal Shelter is excited to announce that Roo, an adorable 3-month-old terrier mix, is now available for adoption. Roo is a playful and affectionate pup who is new to the shelter and already showing that he absolutely loves people.

Though he’s still getting settled and we’re learning more about his personality, he appears to be a happy and healthy pup. As a young dog, Roo will require training and patience from his future family, but with guidance, he’s sure to grow into a loyal and loving companion.

The Newport Beach Animal Shelter is excited to introduce Bear Bear and Buddy, two incredibly sweet Shih Tzu/Maltese mixes looking for their forever home. These inseparable companions are both 6 years old and have an abundance of love to give to the right family.

Bear Bear and Buddy recently underwent successful dental cleanings and are now in excellent health. Buddy, born with a unique birth defect that causes one of his front legs to be shorter than the others, doesn't let this slow him down! Together, they make a perfect duo, always ready to bring joy and warmth to any home. As a bonded pair, Bear Bear and Buddy are looking for a family that will open their hearts to both of them.
