Meet Luke (brown collar) and Obi (blue collar)! These brothers are 11 weeks old and cute as can be. Both are playful, curious, and full of kitten energy.

Meet Marty! He is our 5-month-old polydactyl kitten and the shyest of his siblings, Mia and Mikey. He gets along well with other cats and, once he feels comfortable, he shows his playful side.

Marty has been with us since July and is still waiting for someone to give him a chance. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Meet Magnum. Magnum is a 2-year-old male Pit Bull mix who currently weighs 66 pounds. He has a calm, easygoing nature and walks well on a leash. Since he is new to us, we are still learning how he does with other dogs, but he has already shown us how sweet he is.

Meet Autumn, our 5-month-old Manx kitten. This sweet but shy girl is the daughter of Daisy and Chester, who are also available for adoption. Like her mama, she was born without a tail, and she gets along wonderfully with other cats. Autumn is currently housed with Chester and absolutely adores him. They would make a great pair, but she would also thrive as a solo kitty in a loving home.

We have had a busy summer! Since August 1, six of our adult dogs have found their forever homes: Teagan, Khloe, Dixie, Buster, Bon Bon, and Eclair. We are so happy for them and their new families.

We still have many wonderful cats and dogs looking for homes of their own. 💓😊

Can you spot the difference? Anchovy, Marlin, Mahi, Flounder, and Tuna are 3-month-old Russian Blue mix kittens who all look alike. Anchovy (lime green) and Marlin (orange) are the boys, and Mahi (pink), Flounder (dark purple), and Tuna (light purple) are the girls.

Meet Teagan! This sweet 2-year-old Boston Terrier is now looking for her forever home! Teagan is super sweet and affectionate, but she’s a little underweight and will need some TLC to help her thrive.

Since she’s new to us, we’re still getting to know her personality, but she appears to be a total sweetheart. She is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.

Meet Strudel! Strudel is a 3-month-old female terrier mix and the daughter of Éclair, who was adopted recently. With her tricolor coat, she looks like a mini Bernese mountain dog, but her mom is very small and dad is unknown.

She is vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. As a young pup she will need training, consistency, and patience.

The Newport Beach Animal Shelter is happy to share that Ted, a 5-year-old mixed breed, is now available for adoption. With support from our generous donors, the Friends of Newport Beach Animal Shelter (FONBAS) made it possible for Ted to receive much-needed dental care.

Ted is a gentle, affectionate dog who loves being around people. He appears comfortable with other dogs, though we’re still getting to know him. He has a cloudy eye from an old injury, but it doesn’t affect his vision or slow him down.

Weighing in at 41 pounds, Ted has a short brindle coat and a one-of-a-kind look. He may not win a modeling contest, but we promise he’s even cuter in person and full of charm.

Ted is looking for a forever family to give him the love and home he deserves. He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.

Cannoli and Macaroon have found their forever homes, but their siblings Muffin and Beignet (both pictured) are still waiting to be adopted.

These 12-week-old small mixed breed puppies are sweet, playful, and ready to bring joy to their new families. They have grown up in our care and are looking forward to the chance to continue their story in loving homes of their own.

Adoption applications are required before we can schedule an appointment to meet them. If you have been thinking about adding a puppy to your family, now is the perfect time to apply.
