The City of Newport Beach has partnered with Home Free Animal Sanctuary to provide animal sheltering services. These services include the boarding, care, and feeding of animals collected by NBPD Animal Control. Can you spot the difference? Anchovy, Marlin, Mahi, Flounder, and Tuna are 3-month-old Russian Blue mix kittens who all look alike. Anchovy (lime green) and Marlin (orange) are the boys, and Mahi (pink), Flounder (dark purple), and Tuna (light purple) are the girls.

Meet Teagan! This sweet 2-year-old Boston Terrier is now looking for her forever home! Teagan is super sweet and affectionate, but she’s a little underweight and will need some TLC to help her thrive.

Since she’s new to us, we’re still getting to know her personality, but she appears to be a total sweetheart. She is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.

Meet Strudel! Strudel is a 3-month-old female terrier mix and the daughter of Éclair, who was adopted recently. With her tricolor coat, she looks like a mini Bernese mountain dog, but her mom is very small and dad is unknown.

She is vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. As a young pup she will need training, consistency, and patience.

The Newport Beach Animal Shelter is happy to share that Ted, a 5-year-old mixed breed, is now available for adoption. With support from our generous donors, the Friends of Newport Beach Animal Shelter (FONBAS) made it possible for Ted to receive much-needed dental care.

Ted is a gentle, affectionate dog who loves being around people. He appears comfortable with other dogs, though we’re still getting to know him. He has a cloudy eye from an old injury, but it doesn’t affect his vision or slow him down.

Weighing in at 41 pounds, Ted has a short brindle coat and a one-of-a-kind look. He may not win a modeling contest, but we promise he’s even cuter in person and full of charm.

Ted is looking for a forever family to give him the love and home he deserves. He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.

Cannoli and Macaroon have found their forever homes, but their siblings Muffin and Beignet (both pictured) are still waiting to be adopted.

These 12-week-old small mixed breed puppies are sweet, playful, and ready to bring joy to their new families. They have grown up in our care and are looking forward to the chance to continue their story in loving homes of their own.

The Newport Beach Animal Shelter is delighted to share that Eclair, a one-year-old terrier mix, is finally ready to find her forever home.

Eclair came to the shelter in May, expecting puppies. Since then, Eloise has given birth, raised her puppies, and has now been spayed. With her maternal duties complete, she is ready to enjoy the next chapter of her life as a beloved family companion.

This affectionate girl is eager to be by your side and will make a wonderful addition to any home. Eloise’s puppies will also be available for adoption in the near future, but right now, it’s her turn to shine.

The Newport Beach Animal Shelter is excited to introduce Freya and Rowan, a pair of three-month-old kittens with sweet personalities and the softest fur. These two love spending their days playing and snuggling side by side, and we’re hoping to find them a home where they can continue growing up together.

Freya (left) and Rowan (right) are affectionate, curious, and full of kitten charm. While each has their own personality, they bring out the best in one another whether it’s chasing toys across the floor or curling up for a cozy nap.

Both kittens are healthy, playful, and ready for adoption. They are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
