COACA’s primary training methods are focused on exuding Love, Praise, and Positive Reinforcement, to incorporate the use of the Canine Pack Leader philosophy. With our Personalized Training programs owners and pets receive the added support needed to be successful throughout their training and develop better communication skills with their pet. Our goal is to build a trust and a confidence with you and your pet in route to offering the training/behavioral modification needed to become better Pack Leaders and Pack Members. D Michael Holland, Canine Behavioral Consultant/Behaviorist, has over 25+ years experience working in the Animal Care Industry and holds a Degree in Animal Behavioral Science. He spent the last 10 years of his career as a Veterinary Technician before suffering an injury that rendered his right hand paralyzed preventing him from returning to the work he so passionately loved. With a lifetime of personal pet ownership and an extensive professional background, Michael began his business some years ago as a way to continue his work with canines. He has been professionally consulting and working with pet owners in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia for the past 9 years. Having built a reputation for positively affecting the lives of the pets and the client he works with, he has established a foot hole in the community and comes highly recommended. He is currently operating his business as an LLC and is Licensed-Bonded-Insured. Having earned his surname as #TheCanineMan1, he continues to aspire for excellence in all that he does. COACA LLC offers Housebreaking training, all stages obedience training, Pet Boarding services and we specialize in Behavioral Modification for pets with behavioral issues. We work with local shelters and offer adopters and their pets the training/behavioral modification necessary to make the transition much smoother.
COACA LLC also offers your pet a comfortable home environment where they receive daily care and concern, training and structure needed to become happy and healthy Canine Pack Members. We conduct a detailed evaluation of all pets to ensure that the pet is receptive to any of the training offered. In addition, our Canine Training Assistants also offer socialization and help guide your pets down the path to becoming well-behaved pack members. Our mission is to engender exceptional behavior in both pet and owner through the delivery of professional training services. We are here to help bring you closer to your pet.
