Meet Pongo! Pongo has been with us since September. Only 2yrs old and very playful, he came from an overcrowded shelter, so we have no information on his past. Pongo is quickly becoming a staff favorite and is very intelligent and will stay by your side. He also loves to give kisses! 🥰
You can meet Pongo and his friends at the Peninsula SPCA, 523 J Clyde Morris Blvd, Tuesday-Saturday, 11am-5pm.
Happy #ForeverFriday to our sweet girl, Moose who is settling into her new home! 🥰

Come on out to Barktoberfest at Mill Point Park! We’ll be here having fun and raising money for the animals until 6pm. 🐾🍺🎶
We couldn’t think of a more appropriate day to share Wednesday, a super sweet Lab mix who was recently transferred to our shelter. When Wednesday came to us through our shelter transfer program, we knew she needed a little extra TLC but that didn’t stop us from welcoming this sweet dog into our care. After a full examination, Wednesday needed eye surgery to the cost of $1,100.
As a private shelter, the Peninsula SPCA relies on community donations in order to operate. Medical care is by far the largest expense we face. In fact, the Peninsula SPCA spends approximately $100,000 on medical care for shelter pets every year.
Despite Wednesday’s medical condition, she has been a sweet and happy dog since arriving! We have completed her surgery and are helping her heal.
Would you help us cover the cost of Wednesday’s eye surgery? You can make a donation by visiting our website (link in bio) and select the “Wednesday’s Medical Expenses” button on our homepage. We (and Wednesday) can’t thank you enough!
