Our oldest Aussie female, Molly, was so excited to ride in the car early this morning, and rode so well, seemingly enjoying the fall colors. But our destination was the vet, where she would begin her retirement after being spayed. Molly has been a wonderful mom to all her puppies, and many of you have one of her pups. She will remain with us, enjoying new puppies from a distance. Molly was our first Aussie and has proven herself time and again. Next year we will be introducing our new girl, Maddie. Lucy should have a new litter in June, Maddie later in the summer. Both are blue merles. Stay tuned for our 2024 puppies!

Scout is getting more prepared for his new family. Surely they will show up soon. Back in the car yesterday, we went to our favorite vet and got his second round of shots. He loves riding in the car! He also found the flea/tick morsel quite tasty. Now he can play in the grass-FINALLY! Being the only pup is not so bad. But knowing he has that forever family will truly make everything complete. Yesterday, a car ride with the elusive Cooper (who doesn't know he's a dog), sleeping alone for the first time in his life, but now getting ALL the attention!
