Alpacas of the Crystal Coast As a family we often joke that it all started with
riding lessons. So then we bought another horse which
required a horse trailer to go on trail rides.

Both of my children were grown
and my first grandchild had just been born when I
decided I would like to take horseback riding
lessons. Well, horseback riding lessons turned
into leasing a horse, which turned into buying a
horse, which turned into my husband getting into
riding. Of
course, we needed a new truck to pull the trailer
with. Then after boarding our horses at a stable
for some time, we

decided to purchase property. Then came the house and the barn. We had
more than enough land and barn space for two
horses. So that’s when my sister suggested
alpacas. I did a little research, fell in love, and
here we are!

Hello to all our friends and family.

Well it’s that time of year again for
Alpaca Farm Day to come around.

180 Morada Bay drive in Newport
Just off Hwy 24 behind the Speedway gas station. Just follow the signs.

Saturday November 16 2024
From 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Sunday November 17 2024
From 1:00 to 5:00 pm

Rain date: Sunday 24 November
From 1:00 - 5:00 pm

Come see and learn about these amazing animals. There will be activities and games for children, demonstrations of fiber processing, crafting and felting, a Photo Booth and more.
The farm store featuring many unique Alpaca products will be open for early Christmas shopping as well. Plenty of fun things to be seen and experienced!!!

Monetary donations for Carteret County Humane Society are welcomed at the gate. Check their website for their needs .

The Carteret County Humane Society requires many different supplies to help support and enrich our animals’ lives. Donation of items and monetary are accepted and greatly appreciated. Please feel free to make a monetary donation or donate items from our wish list.

Cool weather is here stock up on your warm Alpaca apparel while selections are plentiful.

We will be at the Cape Carteret Fall Festival November 2nd, located @ 102 Dolphin street across from the McDonalds. Time: 11am - 5pm.

And as always @ the Olde Beaufort Farmers Market 9-1.

Your generosity this weekend not only helped charities supported by the festival but also have enabled us to pass on to the Carteret County Humane Society in Newport a generous contribution to support their efforts with our furry friends.
