So this is one of our old broodmares that was retired. She is the dam of Deep Down The Middle and Lather Rinse Repeat and several other show horses. She’s been in Fieldstone Farm’s youth program under the guidance of Meagan Joy Hengst. She looks great and at 21 she still puts a smile on her young rider. This made our day!

The arena resurfacing is complete. Thank you to Rob and Brandon Masserant for the work and Calo Bros. Trucking for the sand. It drains well, the footing is good and comfortable, it’s exciting!

The Maurer family owns this guy, Born To Be A Cowboy, (Original Cowboy x Born A Lopin Machine). Leon was foaled six years ago and is competing and winning in all around events for Nichole Maurer and her daughter. Another product of Painted Plantation.

We would like to congratulate Claire Silver on the purchase of Toolman. Toolman is a three year old gelding by A Scenic Impulse and out of Zippo By The Bay. Zippo By The Bay is by Zippos Sensation and out of Good Enchantment. We are very excited about this team’s future.

We would like to say thank you to Sara Simons and her team for preparing Tim so expertly and we would also like to thank Teresa Pelton for her assistance in this transaction.

Finally, Toolman is the last foal out of Gracie, who is now enjoying her retirement as a kid’s horse. Toolman is a half brother to Appointment At Graceland, Lather Rinse Repeat,and Deep Down The Middle.

1). Good Hip, nice shoulder, clean legs and good feet.

2). Bloodlines to run.

3). Good attitude and pleasant personality.

Natalie Portscheller has this six month old filly that checks all the boxes. She's by MP Sugeray out of the beautiful Dash Ta Fame mare DTF Yes Way. That means her grandparents include Kiss My Hocks, Stingray and Dash Ta Fame. The filly is paid up in the Riatta Buckle, the Ruby Buckle, the Diamond Classic and she's also eligible for the Crown Royal Futurity. She is easy to handle, good for the farrier, and she gets along well with others.

In 2010 we did a photo shoot with our granddaughter Sophia and our horse, Charlie's My Daddy. Sophia will be a senior in high school this year. As for Charlie's My Daddy, she has since passed. She was the most beautiful horse we ever owned and one of the best minded horses ever. Pam used to buy her hair care products from an Aveda Salon. She was a little pampered!

Last night Phillip Ralls and Call Me Mitch won the World's Greatest Horseman competition in Ft. Worth. I watched parts of it on the internet last night and I have two observations.

First, if you think you can ride, watch this video and then ask yourself again if you can ride.

Second, if you think your horse is athletic, watch this horse closely and ask yourself if your horse is this athletic.

This team is awesome and humbling at the same time.

We've had many types of horses in the barn over the years. We've had race horses, western pleasure horses, hunt seaters, barrel horses, reiners, halter horses and so on. However, we've never had a cutting horse. These are such amazing horses!
