I will attempt to update this page with puppy pictures and updates of the availability of puppies throughout the year. I'm Deborah Snyder and I breed and sell AKC ENGLISH Labradors Retrievers. Most of our puppies are sold to families that are looking for a Lab to become a member of their family, although, some have been used for canine companions, pet therapy, breeders, etc. OUR GOALS AND EXPECTATION
S.....
We encourage new puppy owners to visit, email ([email protected]) or call us at 315-790-1772. We try to match a puppy to each family's specific needs. We have found the best matches are made in person. We DO NOT ship puppies. Each puppy is accessed as to litter position and specific qualities as discussed with each family that is considering adding a puppy to their family. For new puppy owners, we offer a PetEd class to help the family with the many challenges of puppy ownership. Our puppies are priced at $700. This is the price of all of our puppies that leave here with an AKC Limited Registration which is sometimes called a Pet Registration. If you are going to spay or neuter your pet, you do not need an AKC Full Registration. You would need a Full reg. for breeding or showing a dog. Some of our puppies have become breeders or entered into show competition but they must pass their OFA(2 years) /PennHip (6months) testing in order to obtain a Full Registration. We have various litter of chocolate, black and yellow puppies throughout the year. It is best to call for information on what we have or what is expected. We can be reached by email at [email protected] or call us at 315-790-1772. A deposit will hold a puppy until they are ready at 8 weeks.I DO NOT keep a waiting list of families. Each new puppy owner can call or email when they decide it is the right time for a puppy. Keeping a list is frustrating for the family that wants a puppy now! Also, if I don't have any puppies I have other breeders that I can make a referral to with confidence.

We breed ENGLISH Labrador Retrievers. We have found the English Lab to be better suited to the family lifestyle. The English Labs are the shorter, stocky,blocky-headed Labs with the traditional 'otter tails'. They range in weight from 55-70lbs for the female and 70-90 lbs for a male. The are less energetic than the American or Field Labs .Their main goal in life is to love and be loved by a family. They are still classified as an high energy dog but they have the versatality to be a family pet and an ocassional hunter. You can check throughout this page to see the 'look' that we like and what we breed for here at Dairy Hill. We are always available for a visit. The pictures here are great to see but you can tell more about the temperament of our breeders in person. Call us, stop in or email us. We have so much information to share with families that are looking for a Labbie of their own. YOUR EXPECTATIONS....
All of our puppies leave here with a vet checkup which includes their first shots, worming and a signed statement from our vet concerning their health at 8 weeks. They also have their AKC Registration Application, a packet of puppy training information from the Purina Co., Purina Puppy Food, crate training instructions, a PetEd class(if needed),NYS Pet Lemon Law information, a complimentary issue of the new magazine, JUST LABS, and handouts of instructions to make the transition as easy as possible for the new family and the puppy. Most important, though, you leave here with the assurance that your new family member has been well bred and is healthy, socialized and specifically chosen to be the right puppy for your family. We have references from all over NYS,New England, and some southern states. Our happy lab owners are our greatest asset and many keep us up-to-date on their puppy's progress. They are also available to supply references in your area. Many of them have left comments here on this page. OUR EXPECTATIONS........
We expect you to take this puppy into your family and love and care for him/her as you would any other member of your family. Your puppy will need love, proper food, vet care and above all, TRAINING. In order for a puppy to be a joy to be around, he/she will need constant correction and training for acceptable behavior. We recommend crate training along with regular trips outside. Puppy socialization is necessary too so that your puppy will get used to various aspects of family life. These may include your children plus other children, other dogs, outside environment, etc. A puppy training class around 4 months is good. He/she will need a vet to look after health care and be available for emergencies. If for any reason you can't keep your puppy/dog, please call us. We will take him/her back and find a new home. Please keep in touch. Our puppy owners are a great asset to us and we appreciate knowing that you and your puppy are doing well.
