Update on Holly: 1:04 pm

She is coming out of surgery now and about halfway awake. It’s going to be a long road to recovery for the poor baby, but as bad as she is, she’s gonna be ok we think. Her whole body is full of puncture wounds! Her jugular was almost punctured, but luckily it was about an inch to the left of it! She has several drain tubes in her body. Those will need to come out on Tuesday. We will be keeping her overnight tonight and you can pick her up in the morning.

Got an emergency call just a few minutes ago, my little 30 lb dog on the side of the road injured I just put went and picked her up she's got a huge hole across her throat looks like where she's been attacked or been a bait dog. I am on my way with her right now to the vet if anybody can please donate to help cover her vet bills and say a lot of prayers that she makes it cuz she's lost a lot of blood. My hands are covered in her blood from putting pressure on it

We have had a lot of calls and messages this past week of people needing us to take in dogs. In order to keep taking in more dogs we need support and help from the local community. So many excuses we as in all rescues and shelters deal with daily. Be responsible pet owners!!!! Excuses aren't acceptable. an animal is like a child it's a lifelong commitment so be prepared. We rescue animals because we love them and we want to save them, but it's getting hard cuz it seems like it's more rescue the more they're getting tossed aside like they were never loved or garbage. And never seems like it's going to end.

We are in need of dog food donations, we aren't getting them from a local store like we used to, they are having to alternate us with another rescue and we really depended on that donation weekly to us through and it was the only place we were getting donated dog food, we have 54 dogs here at the rescue and go through around 80lbs of dog food a day. if you are local and would like to donate please contact us, Purina dog chow or pedigree, if you could donate via Venmo or PayPal and buy it that would be greatly appreciated as well!

We are here at PetSmart in Flowood Mississippi today again. Today is the last day we will be here as far as PetSmart's national adoption week, please come by and see these wonderful, amazing fur babies we have looking for their forever home! All dogs are spayed and neutered, heartworm negative up-to-date on shots, dewormed and ready for their new home! Meet Me Lovely!
She is a medium size two and a half year old Australian cattle Dog Shepherd mix. She is sweet and full of love! Absolutely amazing with all other dogs! And is great with kids! She has house trained leash trained and has so much love to give somebody!
