Dr. Mangold earned her Animal Science degree from the University of Maryland and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital before spending two years in private practice. Pursuing her passion for zoo and aquarium medicine, she completed a three-year residency at the Bronx Zoo. She then worked at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom for four years before returning to the Bronx Zoo for another three years.🩺
