We had a wonderful time at the Yardley Christmas parade again this year. Such a wonderful turnout every single year. ⛄️. We would like to send a special thank you to the McVan family for allowing us to use their trailer to transform into our Christmas float! To the Perras family Thank you for turning a this trailer into something truly magical. Your time, creativity, and generosity helped bring the spirit of Christmas to life and made this float so special. We are incredibly grateful for your kindness and hard work and the Crist family for your creative creations on the float as well. We are so grateful to not only have you both as Puppy raising families, but all of your incredible volunteerism with everything that we do. Beyond grateful! Check out our pictures on Facebook! Stryker was thrilled to be a volunteer for the veterinarian assistant program at Mercer. This class day was teaching about handling and restraining a dog properly in different situations. He successfully kissed every student and all of the teachers during the process.🤦🏻‍♀️😂✔️

Ward is working on some settling “under” the table with food present. It’s very important for our dogs to not be seeking food out when out in public and learn how to settle.

When my son was deployed, my fellow MOMS (Mothers of Marines) taught me about the significance of the empty chair at the holiday table and it was a tradition that has stayed with me all of these years..

The empty chair at the holiday table symbolizes the servicemembers who cannot be home—those who are deployed, missing in action, or who have given their lives. It’s a reminder that while families gather in celebration, some heroes and their families are spending the holidays apart.

What It Represents
• Honor for those currently serving far from home
• Respect for POW/MIA servicemembers
• Remembrance of the fallen
• Support for military families who feel the absence most deeply.

Among the laughter and the lights, you’ll find an empty chair at our holiday table. It sits in quiet honor of the servicemembers who won’t make it home—those deployed, those missing, and those we have lost. May this seat remind us that freedom has a face, a family, and a sacrifice.

Working very close together to add more distraction. We continue to work on light pressure on the lap when the dog is watching out for anxiety signs from their human. Great job to our puppy raising families for all of their hard work with this.
