On this supremely difficult anniversary, here is a link to the non-profit at the farm that offers free horse therapy for those who have experienced trauma. https://www.embracehopesandyhook.org/ If you can make a tax deductible donation to help support our work it would be so very much appreciated. If you or anyone you know (of any age) has experienced trauma - a broad and inclusive category that can include things such as bullying at school or divorce, as well as violent crime and its long term toll- please reach out (message or text me) and I will put you immediately in touch with our wonderful clinical director for scheduling.

We have stalls available! Our passion is to create more horse-friendly ways to keep, train and ride horses. We also house a non profit bringing equine assisted mental health services to those in need free of charge. For the first time in several years, we have room. What is needed most at the farm is dependable labor, so if you may be interested in labor against your board please reach out to Rebecca - (203) 313-6389. (Texting is best.) Especially if you are interested in natural horsemanship, positive reinforcement and science :) performance background in dressage, eventing & plenty of hunter shows too. But the community is mostly low key, friendly adults now. Not looking for another trainer. It's a lovely, quiet place.

Sally Feuerberg can't thank you and Community Horse enough for covering the UConn Horse Symposium event so well. What a great Day! Huge turnout - ran smooth as silk. Also enormous thanks to Jenifer Nadeau the terrific (!) organizer of the event. (And all the sponsors- Tufts Veterinary mobile field program, Triple Crown Feeds, Steed Read and Ride the Wave PEMF!) The only complaint i heard was from T-Rex who thinks he looks too shiny. Apex predators try to live by the whole "Never let' em see you sweat" rule...Horses don't worry about sweat.

Bad news is I had a very direct contact & am quarantined. Getting a test proving v difficult. So apologies to everyone re no scheduling this week.
