Oberon Stables has openings for borders! A couple of our longtime residents have moved to Florida leaving space for some new faces. We are located at Carlette Farm (formerly Locust Hill Farm where the Locust Hill Farm Hunter pace is held every June and November) We provide retirement board, but also have room for people who ride. We have a very low-key, quiet atmosphere and specialize in horses with special needs. Outside trainers are welcome. The facility has matted stalls, wash stall with hot and cold water, laundry, tailored feeding program, 300+ acres of trails with jumps, a sand outdoor ring, copious turn out, most with shelter, and many other benefits. Manager/ Business owner lives on site (and frankly is almost ALWAYS in the barn). Please contact us with any questions or to set up a visit.

Oberon Stables has spaces opening up. A client is moving to Ocala and taking their retirees with them so we will have space in September! We are no ordinary retirement barn. Located on the former Locust Hill Farm in Hyde Park, NY the property boasts two barns, wash stalls with mats and hot and cold water, matted stalls, daily/nightly or 24/7 turn out and 150+ acres of beautiful pasture. We do blanket changes, fly gear, whatever your horse needs. Our feeding program is tailored to each horse's needs. If your horse is in work we have 300+ acres of trails, an outdoor ring and an indoor that is under construction. Add in our 40 years of experience and you have a pretty nice place to retire. We have openings for boarders! Pasture board or stall board. Located at the former Locust Hill Farm in Hyde Park, NY we offer all of the amenities (except indoor ring). We have acres of trails on the farm that connect to the former Rombout Hunt trails, matted stalls, matted wash stall, premium feed and hay and a tailored feeding program for each horse. With over 40 years experience in equine management we do our best to keep your horse healthy and happy. We specialize in special needs seniors and lay ups but we also welcome those who don't fit those categories. Bring your horse and allow us to dote on them!

Horse Peeps: I have a friend looking for a place to keep her pony. She has to move him by 2/8/24. Hyde Park/Rhinebeck/ Staatsburg areas....she can do self care if it's close enough to her... any ideas?

We have openings for boarders! Temporary or permanent, mares or geldings, retired ( our specialty) or active....turn out or stall, In Hyde Park on a 300+ acre farm with lots of trails and an outdoor arena ( indoor is coming soon!) as well as copious turn out. Or I have room for 1 retiree at a quiet, quaint little barn between Millerton and Pine Plains, turn out (with nice shed) only. Use your vet, your farrier or ours.
