All of us here at Hidden Valley Kennels, as always, are working around the clock to ensure all the beautiful animals here with us are safe and comfortable despite the heat warnings this week.

As we continue to deal with the early summer heat wave, it's extremely important to ensure your pets and the pets around you are safe, cool, and comfortable. Whether they're outside or in a car, please be vigilant to their conditions!

After the passage of Libre's Law, failing to provide adequate food, water, shelter, and safety while outdoors can now be treated as a felony. Dogs cannot be left tethered outside for longer than 30 minutes at a time in 90 degree or hotter weather.

Please, be on the lookout for animals in need while the weather is this dangerously hot. If you suspect cruelty, please contact a PA Humane Society officer or your local police department ASAP!

We know that some dogs prefer the great outdoors, and may not even want to come inside at all once they're out there! With that being said, it's our duty to make sure that they're able to enjoy their time outside safely!

As the weather gets warmer it's important to remember Libre's Law!
If it's too hot out for you, it's too hot out for them too! Please be vigilant and be sure to report any suspicion of animal cruelty to the Pennsylvania SPCA!

This rain and snow melt has certainly given us plenty of mud, and even more opportunity for things to roll around in! It's a pain to clean up, but it's too darn cute!

A reminder that as the weather gets colder, so do our beloved pups! It's Pennsylvania State Law that you cannot keep a dog tethered and without clean, warm shelter outside in freezing temperatures (32 degrees or lower) for longer than 30 minutes. If you notice someone breaking this law, it's urgent that you contact your local human officer or police agency!

If it's too cold for you to sit outside for an extended period, it's definitely too cold for them! 🌨❄️

Lots of decorations going up this time of year... but also a lot coming down "Accidentally" as well! 🐶🐱🎄

We might love the way our tree looks in that one spot in the room, or the way the wreath hangs, but sometimes out furry counterparts just don't agree and take matters into their own paws! 😂
