Here's hoping you all get time to enjoy the snow at home! We know our dogs will! That being said, please monitor your dogs' outdoor play to ensure they're safe and not in danger of running off / getting lost. Also make sure they get plenty of warmth when they finally tire themselves out! 🐶❤️

As we near the end of October and get ready to set the clocks back for November, we want to send a reminder that as the weather gets colder, so do our beloved pups!

It's Pennsylvania State Law that you cannot keep a dog tethered and without clean, warm shelter outside in freezing temperatures (32 degrees or lower) for longer than 30 minutes. If you notice someone breaking this law, it's absolutely urgent that you contact your local humane officer or police office!

If it's too cold for you to comfortably be outside for an extended period, it's definitely too cold for them! Please be vigilant and responsible!

Our thoughts are with the people affected by Hurricane Helene ❤

With every one of these devastating, traumatic disasters there's always stories filled with courage, kindness, and love. One such story comes from the wonderful U.S. Coast Guard!

A man and his dog were sailing off the coast of Florida when rough conditions caused by the hurricane disabled their boat. With just a moments notice, the awesome service members in the United States Coast Guard sprung to action and were able to rescue both the man and his dog! The article below shows more photos and a video of the rescue.

Since 1984 we’ve been operating Hidden Valley Kennels to ensure that our area has a place for animals to call a home away from home. While we’ve been in business for over 30 years, we have much more than 30 years of experience! Don and Mary Elaine (our owners) have been in the pet industry for decades and have experience in all aspects of pet care, including over 10 years of veterinary experience. We are able to handle cats and dogs and every need they have; including behavioral issues and special needs!

Our facility is 35 acres large and customers love to bring their pets to us because they know that they are in good hands. You can expect nothing less than dependable and personal service from us. Let your pet become a part of our family!

You will be pleased to know that our facility is climate controlled and designed with your pet’s needs in mind. For your convenience, we also offer pick up and delivery services for those who are short on time.

Your pets will have year-round comfort while they stay with us. Our facility is temperature controlled to make sure your pets are comfortable and protected from the elements. Our friendly staff will make sure your pets have year round comfort as well as 24 hour care. The owners also live right on the premises so your pet is always receiving the best care imaginable.
