Thought Forms:
Many of us have read "The Secret" and if you have not I would highly recommend it! Although some of the content of "The Secret" may seem like trite New Age babble.....much of the philosophy is on point. Id like to talk about the importance of Thought Forms. Thought Forms are local Focal Points for Goals we set for ourselves. Some people call Thought Forms - Creative Visualization, Prayer, Sending out Intentions and even Spell Work. Of course depending on your Spiritual Beliefs - the labels will vary. The main thing to grasp is that we truly attract what we believe about ourselves. Lets use the word "Universe" for "God" or "Higher Power". The Universe does not want to disappoint us in any way shape or form.....so if we think and expect the worse about a person, situation or thing we can ultimately draw it right to us because the Universe does not want to let us down! Some of you may have heard the phrase, "You Attract What You Fear" - this is an example of the Universe delivering what we believe we deserve based on our Thoughts. For example, you are at a new job and you feel that your boss hates you and that you cannot do anything right and your deepest fear is that you will lose your job. Well guess what you most likely will because energetically you will project this fear and draw your fear right to you by getting fired! You may even on a subconscious level do things at your job that sabotage you without even being aware because of your fear! Ever notice if your in a relationship and your biggest fear is that the person that you are dating may cheat on you or leave and then they finally do? Some of this is "Physics" and some of it is "The Law of Attraction". I see many clients throughout the year and I find myself saying like a mantra too them - "Thoughts Become Words that Become Things out in Front of You". It is important to Monitor your thoughts each minute if you can. You may have to start hourly or daily at first. It may sound silly...but, try putting a rubber band on your wrist and each time a negative thought passes through your mind....snap it on your wrist just enough to make you aware that you caught the Negative Thought Form. One of my favorite quotes that reflects my Blog for today is, "The Limit of Your Beliefs, Limit Your Reality" by T. Lily. So try to think Positive Thoughts so that the Universe has the directive to bring you a Positive Outcome.
