So yesterday this package showed up at my post office filled with live partridge embryos with my name on it and I just happened to have incubator room. Amazing how that works out.

It’s baby week at The Ranch. Getting the hatching incubator warmed up and the nursery ready. It feels like final prep for Christmas morning and chicks are the gifts, can’t wait to meet them.

I’m only looking to keep a few to add to my flock so I’ll have babies available in a few weeks if you or someone you know are interested. Send me a message and I can start a list and notify you when they are ready to go.

I also have Serama pairs available, a porcelain rooster who could be paired with a Mille hen.

Everyone is asleep and mom is enjoying some quiet time before heading back in the house to do evening household chores. I just love my little ranch. It’s about 99.9% enclosed so very little wind or snow or rain on the inside. It’s 20 X 30 and is divided into 6 10 x 10 areas with doors so I can let them mingle or separate them off. I can also set out here in just about any weather and enjoy. Here’s a quick video of the ranch from the inside where I’m kicked back listening to pure quietness this evening. Hope y’all have a beautiful weekend. Don’t blink or Monday will be here. 🙄 ♥️ #lorissatinranch ♥️

They weren’t sure at first but some are loving it especially after I threw some scratch in it. Hope it helps keep their feet warm. Anyone else use straw in the winter? Pros / cons? ♥️🤍 #lorissatinranch 🤍♥️
