First hatch complete. Everyone who made it into lockdown hatched. I believe I counted 12 Mille babies and 7 Porcelain babies. I couldn’t be happier.

Well this is a first for me. All the eggs that went into lockdown hatched. I believe I have 16 beautiful fluff balls up for grabs.

This last one appears to have wide legs so I’ve got it splinted in the incubator but other than that they all look good and will be ready to go this weekend.

They were popping out of their shells like popcorn this morning! I believe I’m up to 15 babies now. Ahh the sounds of newly hatched peeps fills our home once again.

My first incubator is scheduled for hatch a week from tonight. Eggs from both my porcelain and Mille groups in both incubators, chicks will soon be available.

Seramas are all tucked in for the winter thanks to my amazing husband who built pen #2 in our shed. They went from a 4’x4’ coop inside a 10’x10’ run to a 10’x4’ insulated pen in the shed with several levels to perch on. I think, at least I hope they will be happy and comfortable this winter.
