This handsome guy showed up to our clinic from a Good Samaritan! Can someone contact us to get him back with his Owner ASAP because otherwise the county will pick him up .

RAHWAY, N.J., Sept. 1, 2023 – Merck Animal Health, known as MSD Animal Health outside of the United States and Canada, a division of Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, N.J., USA. (NYSE:MRK), is voluntarily recalling three batches of BANAMINE®/BANAMINE®-S (flunixin meglumine injection) 50 mg/mL in the United States, used for injection in cattle, swine and horses to the consumer level due to the presence of particulate matter. BANAMINE® /BANAMINE®-S (flunixin meglumine injection) is a prescription product in the U.S.

Particulates were observed during routine quality testing and reviews for the following batches:

Update:
She is now with San Luis Obispo animal control.
Does this sweet girl belong to anyone? A Good Samaritan brought her into Mesa Veterinary hospital. She was found running down Pomroy in Nipomo. No chip was detected :(

Congratulations to our own Dr. Nydella Zarate. Nydella graduated from Veterinary School in Mexico last year. Nydella is from Nipomo and is a Nipomo High School and Cal-Poly graduate. She has worked at Mesa Veterinary Hospital for two years as a technician, receptionist, and has helped with operations and management. We absolutely love her and appreciate all of her skills and hard work. She is making a positive difference in our hospital and we look forward to her new roll as a Veterinarian in training. When she's not working at the hospital, she's developing her horse breeding business and spending time hiking and playing with her dogs.
