Help us find Bacall a home.....Contact details and info below:

Bacall is a 9 year old Miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell mix, she is all up to date on her vaccines, she has been very well taken care of over these years, she loves to cuddle, she does very well with other dogs of any size, she does great with kids, I am unsure of cats or other kinds of pets. She loves to lay on the porch outside and sunbathe. Bacall's owner is going into an independent living facility due to her health and is unable to care for her any longer. Bacall is such a lover, if you would be interested in meeting her to potentially adopt please let me know.

We are going to call it guys. It’s just too slippery out there and I don’t think roads will clear fast enough to allow the doctors to get in. We will get everyone rescheduled when we are back in the office tomorrow. Stay safe. Stay warm.

8am update…too many wrecks and completely iced roads for the doctors to get in yet. I am hoping we are there by noon if some melting can happen. But it sounds like we should all stay home if possible for now.

We are going to do a delayed opening today. We hope to be in clinic by 10am. If you have an already scheduled appointment we will be contacting you directly about it.
Texting will be the best way to reach us this morning until we can get into the clinic. We will have limited phone call options.

Roads are starting to get slippery out there. Be careful! We should be open at the clinic all day if you need medication refills, food, or a sick pet that needs to be seen.
Make sure to have draft free and insulated shelter for outside pets and sources of unfrozen water. If you can bring them in over the next few days that's even better.

Sept 4th- Closed Happy Labor Day!
Sept 5th-Sept 8th Tues, Thurs, Fri 7:30 am-5pm
Sept 5th-Sept 8th Wednesday 7:30am-3PM

Aug 28th through September 8th we will not have doctors in the office. If you need medication refills, food, etc the staff will be here to help. If your pet has a medical need please call and we will get you set up with an appointment at an alternate clinic and get you copies of medical records.

Update 8:14A: We have power and regular phone service again!

Good Morning. I hope everyone is doing ok after the storms.

We are without power at the clinic. We have phones forwarded to a cell phone so if you don’t get through we will call back or you can still text the main number.

We will be able to do limited things until power is back. We will be making calls and contacting people directly affected on the schedule first. We will update as we know more!

Our GIGi got out last night, she usually just hangs in back yard exploring but she ventured outside the fence:/. We live off of Carrol road and 14 hwy in Nixa. She doesn't have a collar on because she hates them and stays inside. She likes people and is used to small dogs.

FOUND: Female Terrier mix @ Hwy 14 & Missouri St. in Nixa.
Purple collar, no tags.

To claim or pick up your dog you will need to call 417-725-2510. Hours of Release: 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding holidays. If this is your dog you will have to provide proof of ownership and a current rabies vaccination and city license to pick up.

Nixa Animal Control is not a licensed Adoption Agency, so please, only contact our office for release if you are the owner of the animal or know the owner of the animal.
