Everyone is struggling with the heat and their birds here is some tips that will help keep your birds cool. ( I got this from a friend but is what I do as well.

EXTREME HEAT WARNING- Heat Tips To Save Your Birds!
Please keep your birds in a cool, shaded area with plenty of fresh cool water available. I have been getting quite a few messages from people saying they are losing birds from the heat.
The WORST thing yo can do is have your birds in a small, open pen with little or no shade, water that is hot or not cool, and feeding high fat content feed.
My suggestions and mine only-
1) Keep your birds water in a cool, shaded area and change your water about noon and again at about 6 pm.
2) Supplement your feed with steam rolled oats. Oats are very high protein, high fiber and the oats will retain water. Fiber soaks up water and will keep your birds hydrated. Keep their water in a shaded area where it can stay cool and shaded all day.
3) Clean your waters at least every other day with bleach to kill the algae and keep your water sparkling and fresh.
4) I usually put one cap full of bleach in about 10 gals of water to keep the algae, mosquitoes and bacteria out. Remember, Mosquitoes cause Fowl Pox so keep them out of any standing water. The bleach will kill the Larva and the bacteria.
5. Use shade cloth to cover your pens and runs if your birds do no have a high roof over their heads. Keep the heat as far from them as you can.
6. If your birds are on bear dirt, move them. The bare dirt reflects heat, heats the pens up and your birds will start stressing or die.
7. If you have grass runs, wet the grass down in the mornings and late in the evening. This will keep the ground cooler and your birds will love the cool ground.

I hope these tips will help someone and keep you from losing birds in this extreme heat. If it is to hot for you imagine how your birds feel.
Some I add to to this :
I freeze 1 liter pop bottles or water battles or gatoraid bottles depending on the size of your water buckets. and win I change out their water I drop one in the water bucket once or twice a day. ( I have 6 gallon rubber buckets so this works great. BIG thing is to put the water in a shaded area away from DIRECT sun light good look.
