Winter... Dry.. Itchy Skin...
For people and doggies use a humidifier!! This will help with dry skin!! Use more then one!! Also use vegetable glycerin. Yes dogs too!! Put it in the shampoo, its completely safe!! Add organic coconut oil (melted using warm water only)

Itchy German Shepherd? Hot spots? Chewing? Dried course dog hair?
GS dogs have skin issues due to a number of reasons. My theory is for one of those reasons, to be climate. They are originally from Germany. They are built for those conditions. Put the GS Dog in high heat and in all that ridiculous fur. Screams skin problems! I have found that using a moisturizer on them helps 💯 . I use organic vegetable glycerin directly on them or I'll mix it in with the shampoo. This will turn the roughest driest hair smooth soft. Like your GS dog can identity as an alpaca afterwards. Its that Soft. Veg glycerin looks like a thick oil but it melts in hand. It will extend your shampoo. What does vegetable glycerin do?.. It attracts moisture!! This helps tremendously with dry anything. I also use raw organic coconut oil. I mix this in the shampoo. Raw coconut oil is a solid. If you purchase a coconut oil product that is already a liquid do not use that, those are full of chemicals. Never heat coconut oil in microwave. Melt the coconut oil using hot water. This helps with hydration! I hope this helps!! ❤️

With extreme temperatures coming our way, remember there doesn’t have to be snow on the ground for it to be too cold for your pets. 40°F and below is uncomfortable for most pets, but at temps in the 20s pets become susceptible to frostbite and hypothermia. Small breeds, young, old, sick, and short- or thin-coated pets are especially vulnerable and should not be left outside.
