Purdy is a beautiful lady who will melt your heart with just one look. Purdy is 8 years old and weighs 78 pounds. She is loving and sweet and she is dreaming of a family that will cherish her for the rest of her life. Purdy is tender hearted and bonds strongly with her people...she loves to be loved! If you are looking for a loyal companion who will be your best friend then Purdy is the one for you!

Purdy enjoys the comforts of home more than she enjoys going on adventures. She is a true homebody. Purdy will need a securely fenced property so that her nose doesn't take her on adventures. She cannot have a dog door while her people are gone for the day because of her history of escaping as a result of being frightened of strange noises.

Purdy has impeccable house manners. She is housebroken, quiet unless she feels the need to alert her people and she is great in the car. Purdy loves being part of a pack and will be happiest in a home with other calm, confident dogs that are her size. She is very respectful of the cats in her foster home and would be fine in a home with them. Purdy is a friend to everyone and is very gentle with children. Just give Purdy a comfy bed...or sofa...and she will rest until it's time for her next hug.
