It's a special day here at Nolensville Veterinary Hospital...It's Sam's 12 year work Anniversary!!! Sam has been working at NVH since 2012, according to Dr. Barry she is his "support system". She is an incredibly smart and hardworking vet tech. She's a mom, and a kick-butt staple of NVH. The amount of devotion and care Sam has provided to NVH staff, clients and patient's alike makes us so happy that she calls NVH her work home. Please join me in congratulating Sam on this amazing accomplishment! We love you, Sam!!!

With tomorrow being Hairball Awareness Day, we wanted to remind our cat parents about the importance of preventing hairballs.
Accumulated from excessive grooming, hairballs can build in your cat’s digestive system and either get coughed up or in some cases, need surgical removal.
If your cat is excessively vomiting, lethargic, loses their appetite, or has diarrhea or constipation, these may be signs of a blockage and you should contact your veterinarian right away.

Given said because the respiratory-based mysterious illness is very similar to kennel cough symptoms, it is difficult for owners to determine the difference.

This was a nail biting win for Team 1! On our second day celebrating Vet Tech Week we played Jeopardy and it was a close one. The Jeopardy categories were all vet med related and they crushed it! So proud of this team.
