Letting the cat out the bag! We’d like to introduce the newest member to the Sol Saga Arabians family, 🤩💥AL AZHAR WDA!💥🤩 We’ve been searching long and hard for the right straight egyptian stallion to incorporate into the program and once again, fate brought us together. Thee Desperado needs no introduction and myself being one of the biggest fans of Botswana, True Colors and BJ Thee Mustafa, I never thought I’d be able to own a son of Thee Desperado. Not only that, I didn’t realize there was a son of qualities I desired still out there alive and well besides Botswana. Al Azhar’s Dam is also by the exquisite Rofann of Gleannloch Farms Arabian Stud who owned and imported the legendary Morafic! Jumping on the opportunity to own Al Azhar was a no brainer for us here even at his young age of 22. Being his wonderful temperament, qualities that we desire and exclusive pedigree, Al Azhar will be the heard sire for the Sol Saga program in 2025. We are currently working on getting him back to tip top condition and doing our best to bring back his Black Liver Chestnut w flaxen mane color in the months to come once he sheds his winter sun bleached coat. He will not be available for public stud. He will remain exclusive to us here at the moment. Please follow us for all the exciting things to come in 2025 from Al Azhar!

Our NOT so little Trouble Makr made it back home today. Pictures can’t even capture how beautiful and stunning this girl is. I’ve been truly blessed with my first foal crop. Seeing each of them entering their yearling age and continuing to develop as I’ve hoped gives me great joy knowing the Sol Saga program is heading in the right direction. Trouble Makr (aka Troubles) is off of our very own Om El Basma. My decision to breed Basma back to Om El Al Azeem to create even more concentration of Estopa and bring her back up front looks to have paid off with Troubles. Troubles will be a huge part of the foundation moving forward in the Sol Saga program! Hoping to showcase her for the first time in Scottsdale come 2025!

We welcome our second born of the 2024 season! A stunning SUPER leggy filly by the powerhouse Aria Rakeem. Her dam is non other than our very own (whom I hold dearly to my heart as she was my first) broodmare Tasha PMB by Prince Michael MPE and Mylahana El Lethyf. We haven’t named her just yet but be on the look out for her at Breeders Finals this year! Exciting times here at Sol Saga Arabians for 2024! Special thanks to my dear friend Margaret Brunelle for every aspect of this breeding to take place!

Our other black beauty, Sol Saga’s Black Dahlia captured through the eyes of Lysa Roman Photography. This girl is all show and go! Her presence and attitude just shines when she’s in motion. She’ll be a fun one to watch at this 2024 Scottsdale show! Also showing in the Yearling Filly classes, follow her and her half sister through their journey in the ring!

Arabian National Breeders Finals 2023 was a blessing and huge success for us here at Sol Saga Arabians! This being my first foal crop and my very first show in attendance, I’m happy to say we walked alway with not one, but TWO Bronze Champions and a Top 10! I met so many great people at this show that showed so much love for my weanlings and gave me nothing but warm welcomes all around. I’d like to acknowledge and thank my good friends Margaret Vanden Broek and Reni over at J&M Arabians for all their help and generosity from day one with me! Couldn’t have accomplished this without you guys so thank you thank you thank you! I also want to acknowledge my weanling C**t in this post SOL SAGA’S MAJOR CYTE!!! So proud of this boy for making a statement in the ring. Multiple people told me after that Major Cyte was their winner but taking home Bronze is just fine with us! In all honesty, just having fun and being able to show him and my two filly’s was all I expected out of the show. Taking awards home was the icing on the cake. I AM still looking for a performance prospect home for Major Cyte so if anyone takes a liking to him, please let me know and I can give you more information and the options I will have with him! look out for part #2 with the Filly’s!

Here is Major Cheval Syrah, the hidden gem, owned by my good friend and exceptional trainer Dana Ghetty of . The first foal of SolSaga Arabians to hit the ground is from this outstanding young stallion. Major Cheval Syrah is by the infamous Major Mac V, Sheila Varian’s pride and joy and the melting pot of all of Shiela’s greats! The first time I set eyes on Major Cheval, what drew me to him was his shorter muzzle and slight Jibba (a focus for the Sol Saga program) and his great hips and powerful hindquarters on him. Our focus is not only on beauty but proven performance background in our program. Major Cheval’s dam line is just as impressive with legendary sires such as Huckleberry Bey++, Khemosabi, Bask++, Aswan and Silver Drift. We are very excited to see how our new c**t develops out. Thank you Dana for the opportunity to use Major as an important piece of the Sol Saga program! The future is looking VERY bright!

I would like to introduce the first foal ever born into the Sol Saga program. It took a while to name him but I think the name chosen suites him well. Since this is our beginning, I chose to name him just that. Introducing this GORGEOUS black bay c**t, the one the only SOL SAGA’S INCEPTION!!! He is the son of Major Cheval Syrah (Major Mac V X Lady Chevis Syrah) and our stunning mare M Tenacytee (Out of Cyte X NW Tamara). Inception’s pedigree is packed with the some of the best of the best performance and show lines in our eyes. He has such a bright future and will be a big asset to our breeding program! We are also opened to co-owning this fine c**t if we can find the right person/s whom are willing to show and take him into the performance world eventually. But for now, sit back relax and watch him grow!!!

When I was first introduced to Om El Arab by my good friend Margaret Brunelle, I did not know much about it but that it was a good foundation to have. The more I researched, the more I found out that the Om El Bloodline and program was very much like my SunLine Bloodline in the dog world. When I realized the presence and how impactful the Om El program has been worldwide and how much success it had within its own program and with outcrosses, I knew I had to make it a big part of the start of the Sol Saga program as well. Introducing our very own Om El Basma…3x Estopa and an outcross by the infamous El Nabila B. With the world champion Russian, Egyptian and Spanish influences behind Basma along with her stunning type, we have high hopes that she will bring us a very special foal this 2023 season. Basma is a big 15 hand mare with just the biggest/deepest black eyes one can ask for. Basma though a little too smart for her own good, is very loving and independent and can only be won over by her favorite treats; apples & carrots. I have paired Basma up with my favorite Om El stallion bringing more Estopa upfront and concentrating even more on the type we here at Sol Saga Arabians is looking to achieve. The Stallion will be announced soon in a separate post. We’re VERY excited for the 2023 season to come!

Introducing our exquisite Black Beauty by the name of Bella Vita EA, produced by Esperanza Arabians in Woodcrest, CA. Bella Vita is a special one for us here. Aside from her stunning looks and jet black color, she is from multi national and international producer Mazkarade! Her Dam BST Lily May was one of the most beautiful mares that caught my attention instantly when I was searching for my broodmare lineup. Lily May had such a beautiful pronounced Jibba and one of the largest eyes which I love on an Arab that I have ever seen. Unfortunately I was not able to acquire Lily May at the time due to another breeder having shown interest first on her but everything happens for a reason and due to that lost opportunity, I was able to find and acquire Bella Vita, Lily May’s daughter, shortly after. Bella Vita carries the thicker, broader based neck style that the Sol Saga program will be instilling in all of our productions. We are hoping that she will also produce her mother’s large eyes and pronounced Jibba through to her foals. Being 4x Ali Jamaal, the possibilities are endless with Bella Vita. She is currently in foal to Nashville A owned by J&M Arabians in Norco, CA and we are hoping for a 2023 filly. Nashville A is by world renowned Magic Magnifique and Nashville’s Dam line branches back to one of my favorites; Khemosabi. Our beautiful young Maiden Mare Blown Away GP aka “Missouri”. This girl captured my heart when she arrived as an underdog for the Sol Saga program. She has blossomed into such a beauty since her arrival over a year ago. Yet feisty with alpha tendencies towards the other mares, Missouri’s naughty habits are all due to her wants and needs to be the first to seek affection from people. She’s a beautifully colored red chestnut with a flaxen mane. Her father is the champion Brazilian import knockout HI Hello Boy! Big and bold, this stallion hit the US scene with authority. Missouri will play a big part in bringing the performance side of what we are looking to achieve here at Sol Saga Arabians. Follow us to see what we have planned for her this 2023 season!
