Update: Owner was found!!! 💃💃💃😁

🆘🆘🆘 This dog needs to be rescued today or is headed for the SEACCA shelter.
My vet contacted our rescue. A lady found the approx. 1 year old dog with abrasions on her legs. The lady dropped her off and said she would pick her up after they treated her yesterday, and didn’t return. The doggie is at the vet’s in Whittier, CA. Please PM us if you know of a dog rescue who will take her, or if you would like to save her yourself.

(I realize this is a cat rescue but I gotta try and help the poor dog.)

KITTY DEVORE RESCUE IS SEEKING TO ENLIST A FOSTER FOR MOMMA AUTUMN AND HER 5 NEWBORN KITTENS!

As of September 1, 2024, Devore Animal Shelter's new policy prohibits the admission of healthy adult cats, including pregnant females and moms with kittens under eight weeks old. They state, "Mothers with kittens should be left alone until the kittens are old enough to be weaned. At that point, the mother would be a candidate for TNVR."

On September 15, Momma Autumn went into labor under a bush on the lawn of the mother of one of our rescue team members who happens to live in Devore Animal Shelter's jurisdiction. This beautiful Siamese gave birth to five healthy kittens out in the open. Our team member knew she couldn't leave this lovely mom and her babies outdoors to fend for themselves, so she carefully gathered them up and brought them home. After making Mom comfortable, she scanned for a microchip but found Momma, whom we're calling Autumn, had none. Although our team member has fostered countless kitties for Kitty Devore Rescue over the years, she is at maximum capacity and unable to care for Momma Autumn and her kittens long-term. She posted to our network to inquire if any of our other active foster parent members had room, but they were full, too.

Now we appeal to you. We are seeking a long-term foster home for Momma Autumn, her three boys, and two little girls - Bluster, Dapple, Cinder, Cozie, and Gustie. We are NOT looking for another rescue group to take them. We're hoping to enlist someone interested in fostering them for Kitty Devore Rescue.

Courtesy post: A fellow rescuer reached out to us, seeking a home for this 1-2 yr old male named Boots. She found him in a Walmart parking lot, got him neutered and vaccinated. He is very affectionate and loves to cuddle with her. More pics are in the comments.
