The weekend of our horse show our junior board members, and .eq, will have goodie bags that will be offered for sale. They will have some IEHJA merch available too! The goodie bags will have some awesome things in them like and much more! Please keep them in mind, check it out, and consider getting one for yourself! Exhibitors coming to our Fall Festival show next weekend, we are in great need of some 𝓿𝓸𝓵𝓾𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓮𝓻𝓼 on Thursday 11/9 to run the ticked warm-up arenas. We are in need of 𝓽𝓱𝓻𝓮𝓮 volunteers! There’s two shifts at each arena and we have two arenas; the shifts are 10am - 1pm and 1pm - 4pm!

You can be an exhibitor, parent, friend, we just need some help! If you’re available to take on one of the shifts at one of the arenas please message us! Thank you!!

We are beyond thrilled to announce that we received over 25 nomination applications for the 2023 Marshall and Sterling USHJA Las Vegas National Championship affiliate divisions this year!!!

The voting committee will be carefully reviewing each and every one over the next few days with official voting taking place Wednesday July 12th. The recipients chosen will be contacted individually and then we will be making our official post shortly thereafter.

We wish the BEST of luck to everyone who took the time to apply. 🍀 Our voting committee REALLY has their work cut out for themselves!!!

As an affiliate member of USHJA, Inland Empire Hunter Jumper Association is eligible to nominate 3
riders per division (listed below) to compete in their 2023 Marshall & Sterling
Las Vegas National Championship show November 13th-19th at South Point Resort and Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada. Riders nominated DO NOT need to qualify via the traditional USHJA point
accumulation system. USHJA Divisions open to the Affiliate Nomination process include...

➡️Hunters: 2’ Chliderns, 2' Adults, 2'6" Childrens, and 2'6" Adults
➡️Equitation: 17 and under 2’, Adults 2', 17 and under 2'6", and adults 2’6”
➡️Jumpers: Childrens jumpers .70m, .80m .90m, 1.0m and Adult jumpers .70m, .80m .90m, 1.0m

All nomination applications will be reviewed using an established
criterion and the best qualified candidate(s) shall have their
nomination forwarded to USHJA. Your trainer MUST submit a letter of
recommendation in addition to your nomination application.

Directions to apply:
1) Due to our website still being under construction; Contact IEHJA via Instagram DM or email [email protected] (Las Vegas in the subject) with your email information to have an application sent to you. Emails will be checked nightly, so please be patient with us 🙂

2) Complete the application form, along with letter of recommendation from your trainer and submit them to IEHJA via email to [email protected] by the due date.

📢 The Willowbrook Riding Club Show Sunday February 26th has been rescheduled 📢

Due to this weekends weather forecast of rain and high winds Sundays horse show at Willowbrook Riding Club in Desert Hot Springs has been rescheduled to Sunday March 5th.

Willowbrook is open for barns to haul in on Saturday March 4th for schooling prior to the show.

With our 2022 Awards Banquet just around the corner, it is time to start preparing for our annual Silent Auction.

This year we decided to make it a little more exciting and get our barns, trainers, riders and families involved.

Each barn, family and rider can donate a gift basket or item for the Silent Auction table (there is no limit as to how many baskets/items a barn can donate). The basket associated with the barn auctioning off for the highest amount will receive a FREE TACK/GROOMING STALL at IEHJA'S 2023 Fall Show featuring Medal Finals! Not to mention the bragging rights...

We can not wait to see what you all put together and which one of your barns will win the FREE STALL. See you all at our 2022 Awards Banquet February 19th held at and sponsored by along with First Horse Racing.

It is that time of year again and our 2022 Fall Fest in The West featuring Medal Finals is just around the corner, November 11-13. Once again we will be back at the gorgeous surroundings of Galway Downs in Temecula Ca and we can not wait to see all of you.

There is NO QUALIFYING NECESSARY and you do not need to be a member EVERYONE IS WELCOME. This is a DOUBLE POINTED show for members...what does this mean for those of you in the running for the 2022 High Point OTTB/TIP Thoroughbred award? OTTB's accumulate DOUBLE POINTS TOO!!!

Stalls and entries are due by Friday October 28th. Please call in stalls, feed and bedding to Gretchen Clark at 909 809-0131. Entries can be completed on line at www.horsetime.com. DM us or call Gretchen Clark to have a full premium emailed to you.

We are thrilled to announce yet another fabulous show series to the list of 2022 IEHJA sanctioned shows. We want to welcome the KA Productions Show series held at the Paddock Riding Club in Los Angeles to the Inland Empire Hunter Jumper Association.
This is a wonderful competitive show series with fantastic individual show and year end show series prizes, trainer incentives, an official show photographer at every show, food, vendors, beautiful grounds, friendly people and much more! We look forward to seeing our current members as well as some new members at their next show on June 12th! Please see their website for additional information and amenities including stalls for day prior arrival.

CALLING ALL T.I.P. (Thoroughbred Incentive Program) AND REGISTERED THOROUGHBREDS...do we have something exciting for you!!!!

IEHJA will be giving a beautiful wooden tack trunk to the highest over all pointing T.I.P./ registered thoroughbred for the 2022 show season!!! Points will be accumulated on all judged classes/divisions on the HORSE. The tack truck will be awarded at our 2022 Awards banquet held at the Santa Anita Race Track on February 19, 2023.

If that isn't already AMAZING enough an ADDITIONAL wooden tack trunk will be awarded to the highest over all pointing T.I.P./registered thoroughbred for the 2022 Show Case Show Series in Redlands. Points will be accumulated on all judged classes/divisions on the HORSE.

Both trunks have graciously been donated and sponsored by Gretchen Clark with Showcase Training Stables and Caroline Betts. YES, it is possible for the same horse to win both trunks, BEST OF LUCK TO ALL OUR BELOVED THOROUGHBREDS!!! 🍀

Please email Jessica Clark with your thoroughbreds show name and T.I.P. information at [email protected].; once we receive your information points WILL BE RETROACTIVE back to the beginning of the 2022 show season in December. Tattoo numbers and/or Jockey Club papers are acceptable.

Make sure All your riders and HORSES are currently signed up for IEHJA memberships to ensure you are accumulating points from all sanctioned shows you attend. It is VERY important both horse and rider are members to gain points in divisions judged on the rider along with divisions judged on the horse.

We are very excited to kick off the first show of the 2022 season at our new venue, SCHC Hunter Jumper Show series at Vista Palomar Riders in Vista, Ca this weekend February 26th and 27th.

They will be holding all of the same divisions as our other sanctioned shows, the IEHJA medals (non-members can compete), as well as SCHC specialty classes such as three $250 SCHC Mini Prix at .80m, .95m and 1.10m.

Be sure to renew your membership before you start showing for the season as points ARE NOT retroactive. The link to the website is in our bio. Best of luck to all the competitors!!!

Good evening IEHJA members! Just a last minute reminder for everyone that RSVP’s for our banquet are due TOMORROW February 10th! After the deadline ticket prices go up to $125. Don’t forget to RSVP now before prices go up! We’re excited to be back at Santa Anita and seeing everyone there. It’s been a long time coming since the 2020 banquet for the 2019 season.
