This weeks is our STUNNING Friesian Cleopatra! When she is not VERY pregnant she excels in many different disciplines! She rides and drives (we love an educated queen) We are excited for her foal to be joining us in March sometime! So stay tuned for to get updates on when her sweet babe will be here!

Here at S&D we love to spread information and education about our wonderful equines! So here are some quick facts to keep in your back pocket for your next trivia night with friends!

1) Horses sleep standing up! (but they so enjoy having an environment they can lay down and get a good deep sleep in)
2) Horses can not burp (unlike cows and goats)
3) You can estimate a horses age by their teeth
4) Horses are measured in hands (4 inches in each hand)

Today we would like to take a moment to thank all of our wonderful guests who come out and ride with us. Because of you and your continued support, we can continue bringing in horses off the feedlot and giving up to 80 horses a year a second chance at life.

Here at S&D we drive them all, big or small! You can enjoy the wagon as your main event for $45 per person or add it after your horseback ride for $25 per person. Fun fact the wagon is for all ages, so bring out your littles and bring out Grandma and Grandpa for an activity the whole family can enjoy!

Meet Heffy one of the newer arrivals here at S&D we are excited to announce that she may be joining the mares to be foaling this year! Having been purchasing after being exposed to a stallion we are hoping for a cute little haflinger foal!! Stayed tuned to see if this sweet girl is growing a food baby or a horse baby! But in the meantime you can book to ride Heffy or any of our other wonderful horses.
