Canine Capers Agility Club Canine Capers, located in Norcross, Georgia, is the premier Agility Training Site and Club in the state.

As the first club to be approved for both AKC and USDAA trials, we are able to host up to 4 trials per year for the agility enthusiast. Canine Capers provides quality agility training for all levels and all breeds of dog. Our indoor facility provides for this training year-round. Our NEW 20,000 square foot building allows us to set up multiple training rings which allows simultaneous training at t

he various levels. Class sizes are kept small to assure you of a maximum number of runs, more personal instruction, and a better overall training environment for you and your dog. Staffed by instructors with years of experience (who have achieved titles on their own dogs), we are well suited to helping you maximize your dog's potential and your handling skills. At this time all scheduled run thrus are canceled. We are planning to hold one in April but don’t have a definite date as of yet.

Canine Capers will be holding AGILITY RUN THRUS on
Saturday November 30 from 11 am to 1 pm

No run thrus in December.

Future run thru dates for 2025 will be announced in the next few weeks.

PLEASE NOTE AS ALWAYS:
EXCEPT WHEN RUNNING IN THE RING, ALL DOGS MUST BE ON LEASH WITH THEIR HANDLER OR IN THEIR CRATE.
ALL RUNS WILL BE $5 PER RUN
WALK THRU WILL BE AT THE START TIME FOR ALL HEIGHTS
FOOD AND TOYS ALLOWED IN RING, BUT THROWING THE TOY IS NOT ALLOWED

Canine Capers would like to offer a Novice Rally class on Thursday nights at 7pm. This is an ongoing class & you can start this coming Thursday!
Katie Sample will be the instructor. Her bio is below!
From Katie:
"I have worked with dogs professionally for 12 years, with the majority of my professional career in boarding, retail, and grooming. I started studying professional dog training about 8 years ago and have been training in rally for around 7 years. I currently have 3 dogs I am trialing in rally with. Zora, my current primary rally dog, was the #4 Siberian Husky in the country for novice rally in 2022, competed at the AKC Rally National Championship for novice class in 2023, earned 1st place for Rally Advanced class at the Siberian Husky Club of America National Specialty in 2022, and is currently in the Excellent class with the hopes to begin working towards her RACH in the next year or so. I believe that being successful in rally is possible for any team that is willing to put in the work to get there.
Dog sports and training for them is my passion. We compete in a variety of sports, including conformation, agility, rally, scentwork, dryland mushing, and BarnHunt. I am also an AKC CGC evaluator. I am looking forward to helping others get started in novice rally and learn about this fun sport!"

The trial has come to an end and hopefully everyone is rested. I want to thank all the competitors for coming out and supporting our trial. It was a beautiful weekend weather wise and reminds us all why we enjoy an outdoor trial. The people that stepped up to lend a helping hand were far too numerous to list. The trial ran smoothly because of all the volunteers so I want to say THANK YOU!

See you back at Wills Park in March but mark your calendars for our UKI trial Nov 9-10 at Canine Capers building in Norcross.
