Piglett is doing wonderfully with her crate and is making great progress with age-appropriate house training. She gets along beautifully with her foster dog and cat siblings, and her playful, friendly nature makes her a joy to be around. When it’s time for a car ride, Piglett is a dream passenger—she settles in and falls asleep almost instantly.

While she has plenty of puppy energy to burn, Piglett also loves to wind down with a cozy nap on the couch. She’s curious about her surroundings but always prefers to stay close to her favorite humans. Though she may express a little discontent when left alone, she quickly settles and adjusts.

Preference for this dog will be given to adopters who commit to signing up for and completing our six-week Canine 101 training class in person at our headquarters in Troy, VA. Secondary consideration will be given to a limited number of out-of-area adopters who agree to complete one private lesson with GDU, either in person or virtually, and attend a pre-approved positive reinforcement training class in their area.
