Paint Night at the Barn is back!! 🎨

Resident artist, Emily Rivers will be offering step by step instructions to help you complete a seasonal portrait of your favorite horse. No artistic experience is necessary, we promise!

⭐️ Wildflower Stables has an opening for full board available December 1st! ⭐️

Wildflower Stables offers boarding and inclusive riding lessons in a welcoming and positive environment. We operate out of the beautiful Trinity Stables in Norfolk, MA.

Our community is made up of riders from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds. The team at Wildflower Stables takes great pride in our equine knowledge and commitment to providing a safe, fun and supportive space for all to enjoy.

Full board is $1,400/mo and includes:

-Top-notch daily care by our knowledgeable and professional team
-24/7 group or individual turnout with run-ins
-26-stall fully matted barn (although all horses live out 24/7)
-High-quality grain fed twice a day with owner-provided supplements
-Blanket changes as needed
-Heated tack room, bathroom and shared kitchen
-85’ x 220’ bright and airy indoor attached to the barn
-125’ x 150’ outdoor arena
-Multiple riding fields
-1 mile long trot track and access to trails
-1 round pen
-Outdoor wash stall with hot water
-Trailer storage available at an additional fee

Calling All Adult Horse Lovers! 🗣️🗣️🗣️

We are very excited to announce a new program offering:

🌟 Wildflower Stables’ Adult Pony Club 🌟

Once a month for 4 months, we will gather at the barn to ride, deepen our knowledge of horse care and management, and to socialize with likeminded horse enthusiasts.

You do not need to be a current rider at Wildflower Stables to participate, nor do you need to own a horse. Ship-ins welcome!

Our Manes and Manis event this weekend was a huge hit! The kids matched their nails with the hooves of their favorite horse and transformed them into true unicorns.

We always knew our horses were unicorns, now they actually look like them 😍🦄

Join us on October 19th for a “Manes and Manis” event, where we will gather in the barn and spend the afternoon glamming up our horses and ponies!

We’ll braid their manes with ribbons and bows, and paint their toes with glitter and fun colors. Then we’ll paint our own nails to match them! 🎀✨💅🏼

All the horses at Wildflower Stables are amazing. Today we are celebrating one in particular: Pi 𝝅

Pi is the type of horse you fall in love with simply based on her beauty and presence. Then you get to know her, and you realize she’s not just a pretty face- she’s beautiful inside and out.

Come visit Wildflower on a Monday and you’ll catch Pi in a lesson with a nervous 7 year old rider, walking slow as molasses to help them relax. Visit on Thursday and Pi is in the dressage ring with her lessee, Laura, practicing for their debut down the centerline together at the Intro level. Or come on a weekend morning and observe Pi in a therapeutic lesson, where she graciously allows a leader and two sidewalkers to support her rider, then watch her seamlessly transition to schooling second and third level dressage with Emily in the afternoon.

Next time you’re at the barn, stop to give Pi some extra love. We’re grateful to have horses as versatile and sweet as she is. 🥧

🤍 Happy Retirement Domino! 🤍

This weekend, our beloved Domino officially retired from the Wildflower Stables program. Domino came to Wildflower in March of 2022. All of our horses are special, but Domino is extra special. She is the most patient and bombproof of horses, with the most kissable pink nose. Domino has always been so patient and kind to participants of all ages and was an excellent teacher to riders of all levels. She was the horse that got more than one timid rider back in the saddle after a fall or time off and could stand to be groomed and bathed for hours. She always had a 'no problem...been there, done that' approach to her job.

We know Domino has touched the hearts and minds of so many in our community and we will forever be grateful for her patience and love.

Congratulations to Emily Rivers and Pi for taking home Champion of their class and High Point Horse and Rider at Bear Spot Farm last weekend. They have officially qualified for USDF Regional Championships in September! 👏
