Today wasn’t really about ribbons. It was about courage, resilience, and getting back in the saddle when things don’t go as planned.

Maddie navigated her first horse show with incredible determination and bravery, and shined in her flat class. Alexa won champion of her division by staying focused and persevering through a few tricky moments.

Both faced challenges, and both kept going. That’s the kind of horsemanship that matters most, and I couldn’t be more proud. 💙

It is with great sadness that we share we have had to say goodbye to our beloved Pi. 💔

It’s impossible to measure how much one horse can mean to so many people. Pi seemed to understand that her role was bigger than just teaching people of all ages and abilities how to horseback ride — she had a way of making people feel safe, confident, and seen.

Horses who can truly do it all are rare, and Pi was one of them. She patiently taught nervous beginners how to trot off the lead, and just as easily stepped into the role of an upper-level dressage partner. No matter who was in the saddle, Pi met them where they were and gave them her whole heart.

Pi will be deeply missed, but she will always be with us — in the quiet corners of the barn she loved, the hearts of the riders she carried, and the memories shared by everyone who loved her.

Thank you, Pi. For everything. 🤍
