🦝 Evelyn’s Wildlife Baby Bottle Campaign! 🍼

Alright, folks—we’ve got hungry baby animals, and they’re demanding room service! 🦝🐿️

That’s where YOU come in! From March 24th to May 12th, we’re raising funds for formula to feed orphaned wildlife, and all it takes is some spare change (or, you know, those forgotten crumpled bills in your car’s cup holder).

Here’s how you can help:

🐾 Step 1: Pick up a baby bottle at Tubbs Used Auto Parts or one of our events.

🐾 Step 2: Fill it with loose change, cash, or treasure you found under the couch cushions.

🐾 Step 3: Return your filled bottle to Tubbs Used Auto Parts, or call us for pickup—because we’ll do just about anything for baby raccoons. 🙂

📢 Businesses! Want in on the fun? We’ll personally deliver bottles to you (no, not by carrier pigeon, but we’re working on it).

Help us keep these baby critters full and happy—because a well-fed raccoon is less likely to steal your snacks. 🦝❤️

Baby season is in full force.

We use a messenger platform that goes off like a text alert for transports in need.

If you are in the Hampton Roads/Peninsula area and would like to join please follow these steps.

1. Download the WhatsApp application for your smartphone

2. Then text message Meredith your name to (757) 434-3439

3. She will send you the regulations to transporting and the instructions to the transport threads

4. We ask that you do at least one transport a month to stay on the threads.

Happy National Wildlife Rehabilitators Appreciation Day!!!

Some of you may not be aware, but wildlife rehabber’s are not employees they are volunteers. They do not get paid to do what they do. They do not get government or state funding. They will spend their last dime for an animal and at times beg for funds to help their mission.
They fall in love over and over with these animals that cross their path. They cry and mourn over lifeless bodies. They get peed on, pooped on and puked on. At times they feel loved and at other times they feel hated.
Rehabbing is not a hobby it’s a full time commitment. While their families enjoy summer activities they sacrifice their time by cleaning cages and feeding babies. Most juggle rehabbing with a full time job with no time to barely breathe.
Their only payment is the enjoyment of seeing the animal they helped wild & free. And they do if for the love of animals.
So let’s hear it for all rehabbers across the world who sacrifice their time and lives to helping wildlife ❤️

We want to see beautiful photos nature has to offer. It can be a photo you took of a beautiful flower that caught your eye, a beautiful painted sunset sky that amazed you or even an amazing creature you felt lucky to get a glimpse of. It just has to be of "NATURE"
No domestic or farm animals.

Photos must be taken by you!

Photos MUST be in by midnight of Thursday February 9th.

Here's how to enter:

1. Entries MUST be emailed to [email protected] by February 9th

2. Each person can submit up to 3 photos.

3. The photos must be NATURE but does not have to be an Wildlife animal (other examples: sunsets, flowers, trees )

4. Please add short descriptions with each of your photos.

5. Please add your Facebook name in email so we can tag you for voting.

6. You do NOT have to be a professional photographer to enter.

7. You do NOT have to be a Virginia local to enter.

8. There is no age limit to enter.

9. Share the contest with your friends and family. One of them could be the lucky winner!!!

10. Once the album is loaded on February 12th voting will begin. The photo with the most likes is the winner.

11. Winner will be announced on March 1st
