Professional Horse Training

Josie Bonner of Bonner Performance Horses produces Quality Performance Horses competitive at all levels from 4-H to Breed Shows , also for the daily rider that wants to brush up on thier horsemanship and confidence with thier horse. Kids as young as 6 are allowed to take lessons,I also do couples lessons. My program will help first time owners, those who want to be co

mpetitive in the show ring, or those that want to just learn more about thier horse and to improve themselves. We have stalls and lots available, along with an indoor and outdoor arenas. Teaches confidence in and out of the arena also on and off the horse. Teaches quality care of your horse including teeth, weight, hair coat, feet, worming, feeding, and more. Teaches riders to soften in rhythm with their hands and legs ,which helps teach horse and rider to be more advanced. Teaches Kids and Young Adults how to be resepctable, patient, and how to be a good citizen because of the resposibility of owning and being around horses. This program is great for new owners or someone wanting to be a horse owner, we help you threw the process from purchasing, learning, and getting your place set up for your own horse, it lets your learn and build at your own speed and achieve your personal horse goals! 2024 NRHA Futurity Show Affiliate Championships is a wrap for this group !!!

Halie Nelsen & Spook N Dance - huge stops, fast spins, and beautiful circles, lead change penalty points got them in the show pen but I couldn’t be more proud of how you handled everything with Elvis coming back from a major injury this fall. You have rounded Elvis into such a great horse and I can’t wait see what you two do together next year at the local and national level shows!

Rachel Harder & Shotgun Rider - you stepped up so many maneuvers with a horse you just started showing a couple months ago. Pretty circles and handling him in the pen during his strong moments so well! Clyde loves his job because of how well you guys !

Rachel Harder & Smartys Whiz- I knew he was the horse for you and I’m so happy for your confidence together to end the year on such a fun high note! Placing Top 20 in the Rookie level 1 class with a 210.5 then coming back and placing 9th in the 14-18 Youth Affiliate Class earning your Top Ten Prized Jacket with a 213! 💛 Hard work and focus has proven itself for you both!

Axton Altwine & Smokinwalla Whizbang - such a great first ride down at the OKC arenas! You and Wally are a great team and your dedication has shown for your first year of reining together! You had your best pattern yet and can’t wait to see what you do another year together!

Gavin Altwine & Smart N Spark - with only a couple months of learning each other , these two have rocked it together! Awesome circles, rollback and stops are just the start for these two at the next level of reining! I can’t wait to watch you two grow and take on more shortstop together!!!

NRHA NAAC Championship update!

Halie Nelsen & Spook N Dance - Rookie level 1- had some great ride together and will be showing in the Novice Horse Non Pro level 1 next

Rachel Harder & Smartys Whiz - Rookie level 1 were just out of the placings for the top ten and Showdown ! They will be showing in the Youth on Friday

Smartys Ruf Blonde - owned by Jacquelyn Samway was shown by Josie Bonner earning Top Ten placing in the NAAC Rookie Professional class
