Selling my lesson horses has been extremely difficult but it's helps that penny has found the perfect home for her. She fits right in with all the other ponies and will be handed down to younger siblings as the years pass.
She has an amazing forever home and I'm happy they found her ❤️

This pony is worth her weight in gold and takes such good care of even my smallest riders even at four years old.

Penny has been a part of our program from the very beginning, she's been with us for a little over 3 years. All of our true beginners 10 years old and under start out on penny. Not only does she allow her kids to learn and make mistakes but she loves her job and her kids. There isn't a mean bone in this mares body. Absolutely no mareiah behavior, just a sweet, in your pocket mare that loves to babysit.

She builds all of our students confidence so they can fall in love with horses and riding. Penny will go through and walk over just about anything, from water to tarps, bridges, tires, gullies, etc. She's done trails, play days, group rides, been around dogs, chickens, goats, tractors, cars, flags, etc.

She has so much exposure and experience that not much phases her. She is a true seasoned pro with no funny business. She will ride in a halter, hackamore, or a full bridle with no problems.

It's hard to put a price on your kids safety, with that being said we feel at 💲4️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ any kid can have the chance to learn, grow and fall in love with Penny just as all of our lesson kids have.

She has never foundered or been lame in any way. She has good solid feet and is currently barefoot. She stands great for being shod when needed.

🎀This mare does great with beginners who have a confident seat. She is very light in the bridle and responsive to leg cues. She will carry just about anything on her back, including a blowup dinosaur costume, flags, to tarps and sacks. She will cross water, logs, bridges, ditches, etc. The kids love to bathe her and braid her mane and tail.

⛔️Our kids are required to do everything themselves during their lessons. From haltering, picking hooves, grooming, saddling, putting on the bridle, lunging, groundwork, bathing, etc. The kids can load and unload her out of the trailer with ease.

✨️Dolly ✨️ loves her job and loves to go faster when she allowed to. My advanced beginners have great shoulder control and of this mare. She is subtle throughout her body and comes through herself beautifully. I personally believe a youth student could excel well in any speed event on this mare. In our program we focus on foundation, control and safety. This mare has all of those qualities, but she has so much more that we are not currently tapping into. I don't want to see her total potential go to waste.

Kids love her because of her size and she's big enough for adults too! She is 13.3 hands. I ride her from time to time and she carries me with ease all day. For reference I am 5'9" 150lbs.

She is an easy keeper with great feet!! She's never foundered or shown any kind of lameness. All of our horses get routine chiropractic care every month.

Downsizing the herd is always hard, Dolly has taught our lesson kids so much while she has been here.

We are shifting the focus of the business to meet more long term goals, which means having short term sacrifices and letting go of some of our good horses.

First day on the obstacles and he acted like he'd done it a million times.

Most of the time when a c**t bolts under saddle on the first ride is not because of your weight, but because they are not used to seeing something above their eye, especially on their back, so they try to run away from it which is their natural prey instinct.

I prep my c**ts for this by an exercise called pick me up off the fence. They get used to seeing me above their eye and it simulates me being on their back without me actually being committed when swinging a leg over. This in combination with the rest of my groundwork lowers my risk significantly on their first ride. There's no bucking, bolting, or freezing.

When they hear everything I've been teaching them from someone else also in a professional setting, puts the icing on the cake.
Some light bulbs went off today for some students of mine, I loved getting to take them on this field trip over the weekend.
