🐾 Did You Know? 🐾

We’ve been working with Woodford County Animal Control for some time, helping provide care and support for their animals in need. Now, we want to share this partnership with all of you and help these adoptable pets find their forever homes!

Starting this week, we’ll be highlighting some of their wonderful animals right here on our page.

Stay tuned and help us spread the word to give these amazing pets the second chance they deserve!

Hi, my name is Gigantor (GiGi for short) and I am looking for my furever home!

Let me tell you a few unique things about me:

•I am estimated at 8-9 years old
•I am a neutered male
•I am a polydactyl kitty! (Which means I have extra toes on my feet. See pictures)
•I have stomatitis which means inflammation of the gums and mouth. (This means I may need pain medications or steroids from time to time to help keep things under control and keep me comfortable)
•I am on a very specific diet called PR Selected Protein through Royal Canin (which is a rabbit and pea diet that I may or may not have to stay on for life. Only time will tell)

I am a very sweet boy that loves to be pet and brushed. My ideal household would be nice and quiet and I need an owner that can provide for me the things I need to continue to help me stay healthy and happy including the prescription diet food and medications mentioned above.

Here at POVC, we understand to some extent that all companion animals are acting in their own unique ways as service companions.

Today, on a typical insane Saturday where chaos always reigns yet never tempers our work, we enjoyed starting our day with two true service companions.

Thank you, “Yoho” Toohill and “Paul” Whitmer for what you add to your family’s lives and what you add to ours.🙏

I would ask any of our clients a question.

When you come to POVC, is your pet visit 15 minutes of monetary production?

Or is your pet our guest that we do everything possible to meet them well and with comfort?

I have watched my amazing staff and doctors burn all the rubber they have on their performance tires to get every nervous or happy animal in and out on that pet’s terms.

No offense.

It’s not about you.

It’s always about your pets.

I watch this team weekly take on two weeks of work in six days.

We get wins.

We sometimes lose.

But we will always be there.
