These pups had us tearing up reading their letter to Santa. All they want for Christmas is a loving home and a safe place to lay their heads. 💔

We want the same thing for these sweet babies, and with your help, we can make it happen! 🐾

📢 Important Announcement 📢

We want to inform that the Animal Emergency Clinic (AEC) will not be accepting transfers overnight on Wednesday, November 27th.

Patients requiring overnight care will instead be referred to the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Please plan accordingly if your pet needs emergency services during this time.

AEC Opening Hours for this week:
• Thursday, November 28th: Open 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM Friday, November 29th
• Friday, November 29th: Open 6:00 PM and remains open through 8:00 AM Monday, December 2nd

LETS GET THIS BOY HOME FOR CHRISTMAS! 🎄

Reposting our sweet boy “Gigantor” who is still looking for his forever home! As we have gotten to work with him more and try things out we have decided on a few things:

• He CAN be in a home with other animals but not an extreme amount.
• He CAN be around children in the home.
• He does have to be maintained at a small dose of steroid (which is a transdermal medication so you don’t have to give him oral medications)
• He does have to eat a specific prescription diet which is Science Diet GI Biome

Gigantor is on those specific things listed above due to stomatitis in his mouth. He has had multiple dentals to make sure all teeth and roots have been removed. Even with those efforts he still struggles with inflammation of the mouth and the steroid medicine keeps him comfortable and happy.

These are just a few of the many sweet faces that look at us everyday, wondering when it will be their turn to go home. We know we're partial, and we know we say it a lot, but they are all fantastic, sweet dogs who deserve SO much more than what they have right now. Please consider contacting us and getting to know one of them, and if you can't do that, then please share our posts and help us find a home for them!

Remember to keep candy out of paws’ reach (especially chocolate and treats containing xylitol) and make sure costumes aren’t too tight or uncomfortable!!

We're going to have a few of our available dogs at the Fall Fest in El Paso on Saturday afternoon. We'll be there at 3:30 and stay until the dogs (or the deputies 😁) say they're ready to go home!
