ATTENTION: The office will be closed starting Wednesday August 28 thru Monday September 2nd. We will reopen Tuesday September 3rd. Susan and I will be out of town but a staff member will monitor the voicemails to the office. if medication refills are needed or advice given by me, she can handle both. Just leave a message on the phone at the office. HAPPY LABOR DAY WEEKEND!

Well last night I was scrolling thru the Best Of categories from the 2024 Readers Choice from The Pantagraph. I went to Best Veterinarian and I did a double take. There was my name as one of the top 5 Veterinarians. I want to thank all of you who voted me into this category. It certainly was unexpected. I never have solicited my clients or my staff to vote for me so that makes it all the more special. You did it all on your own. After several decades of working long hours and dedicating myself to this profession, this gives me a feeling of accomplishment. I'm sure my colleagues that were also voted in feel the same.

Today is a sad day for Brunswick Animal Hospital and me personally. Trisha, my certified veterinary technician for the past 10 years ,is leaving the state to start another chapter in her life. She has been not only the most dedicated and hard working tech I will ever have, she has been a friend and U of I basketball buddy. The animals of my practice and I will miss her greatly. She will always be welcomed back with open arms,
