If your pup is constantly licking and chewing his paws, chances are it’s due to environmental allergens. One way to help relieve the itching is by soaking their paws after being outside. Simply wiping them off is better than nothing, but that doesn’t remove the billions of allergens that are in between toes. There are many ways to do paw soaks, so you may need to experiment to find the method that works best. For larger dogs, mix the solution in a bucket and dunk your dog’s paws in the bucket after a walk. For smaller dogs, you could fill a large shallow container like a plastic container meant for underbed storage.

Uh oh....Did Halloween spook your pup’s tummy?
Day after Halloween and maybe your pup managed to trick or treat a piece of candy and now you’re dealing with diarrhea or upset tummy. Many people have heard the advice to feed plain chicken and rice. While that used to be the go-to, it’s actually outdated. Rice can make the problem worse! A better solution is to give their stomach a rest by skipping a couple meals, then try feeding a mixture of pumpkin & ground turkey. Slippery Elm is the closest thing we’ve found to a “diarrhea miracle cure” while bone broth is great for hydration.

Happy Halloween! My name is Charles and this was my first visit to Nilla's Tub. As you can see, my humans shaved off a lot of my colorful fur. No wonder we came here instead of doing this at home. I don't know why they decided to dye my fur in the first place .... but there's a lot of things humans do that don't make any sense to me. Like eating food with tiny sticks, staring at glowing rectangles, and picking up my p**p with their hands inside little bags. They’re weird, but I love them and they give good snacks and know how to hug me just right, so I'll just keep going along with their crazy ideas.
