Dawson City 1
Welcome to the farm Dawson City! He is a 16.2ish hand 5 year old OTTB gelding. He is a STUNNER! He had only been here a few hours before we started him. He is FANCY! He is available for adoption from Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation
I am so proud of how far Barrett and Friday have come. This is INCREDIBLE!
Friday is aka Mesta Park, and was adopted last March from Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation
Ace jumps
Today was my last ride before shoulder surgery tomorrow. Ace was such a good boy!
Snow play
Horses playing in the snow is the best kind of entertainment!
Spins
One of these riders is an eventer, one is a cowboy, and one is 88 years old.
Guess who is who?!
Spoiler alert… the 88 year old is the BADASS.
First canter on Kwontro (Kenny)
Sound on for the teenage squeals!
Kenny is here from Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation and being the most perfect boy!
Anna and Kenny
Anna continues her education on how to gently restart OTTBS. Kwontro (Kenny) is the perfect one to learn what to do step by step, because he is so gentle! He is sweet but a little tense, so we will continue to show him he can relax. He raced until he was 8, so we are going nice and slow with him! Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation
Westcoast Breeze on his first trail ride! This 4 year old 16.1 hand gelding was absolutely PERFECT! This is the calmest, kindest boy. He has zero spook, and is available for adoption from Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation.
He has an old bow that is all healed. If you are nervous about that, consider that he has been here for two weeks and has worked EVERY day, and is still completely sound.
West coast breeze
West Coast Breeze had his first trip out of the arena. He was perfect! He has no spook, and is kind and loving. He is available for adoption from Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation
Anna, my young German exchange student, got a lesson on how to ride baby racehorses! This is West Coast Breeze. He is a big gentle guy, and is only 4! He has an old bow, but is ready to have a non jumping career. He is available for adoption from Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation
West Coast Breeze in the arena
What an absolutely stunning horse. West Coast Breeze is so fun to ride! He is forward, but not too forward, but not one you have to push along. Let’s call him “perfectly appropriately forward!” He is a super gentle sweet horse. He will not be a jumper as he has an old bow that is fine now. Obviously he is sound on it. He is available for adoption from Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation!
Miles and the WERM
Miles is absolutely the bravest Andalusian in history. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
