Tried Taco Tuesday in the dually halter today. He was a very good boy!

Another glorious morning moving cattle in Colorado! Zip was my horse, and the pup is Frog, who did the work of ten cowboys.

My old friend Zeus The Mustang. I owned and competed him for many years, and when he didn’t want to jump anymore, I loaned him out to my friends ranch. I visit every summer, and get to ride him. Well, he wasn’t super impressed to see me, apparently.

Miles and I have been working on going bareback and bridleless. Still have the halter on for moments we need a little back up, but now I hardly use it. I am having so much fun playing with this horse! I bought him as a yearling stud colt, and have brought him along this whole time. He is now the bestest 5 year old gelding. ❤️❤️❤️

Cherokee Legacy

Cherokee Legacy is a 16.1 hand OTTB gelding who won over 100k! He has come to start his second career and is available for adoption from Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation He is not spooky or herd bound, has no vices and is an all around pleasant horse. He is not cleared to jump but will make a lovely trail or dressage horse.

Sprite XC

Sprite came here a month ago to be started under saddle. She is well loved by her owner, who has come out many times to ride her. Today she went in the field and “jumped” an XC fence!

Cherokee Legacy made it out to the arena today! He is such a pleasant fellow, and has incredibly good manners. He is a joy to be around. Not spooky, not herd bound, no stall vices, bathes, cross ties, loads, leads well. He is not cleared for a jumping career, (benign knee chip) but with an appropriate rider he will make a lovely dressage or trail horse. He is available for adoption from Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation.

Cherokee Legacy on day two! So lovely to ride. He is pleasant to have in the barn, leads, loads, crossties, not herd bound, good for baths, not spooky, etc.

He is not cleared to jump but is ready for any type of low impact career. He is available for adoption from Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation

All finished for the day with Sprite, and she does this. I think it’s the biggest compliment that when you finish working with a horse, they would rather be with you than away from you.

It was so wonderful to have Sprite’s mama come out to ride her yesterday. This was her first ride in the big arena. It’s been so fun to have Morganne such a big part of her training.

Sprite was visited by her mom and she got to have a go on her! Sprite came here to be started under saddle and I am so pleased with how she is doing.
