Well the state wide ban on bird sales finally was lifted and you lnow what that means?!?!?! The boys finally get some ladies!! 20 young hens all about to start layig if not already. Rhode Island Red X Cinnimon Queen crosses. Love this mixed breed the eggs are awesome and the birds are very docile and hardy!! 🤩🥳😂

Sorry for the lack of activity. My health had gotten the best of me after this horrible winter. Here is a real quick recap as to whats veen going on.

We had to find a new home for Sir Charles our chantecler partridge as our 2 roos started to fight. He is doing well with his new family and his own flock.

On the good side our partridge is the father to one lucky chick that is a double gene bird. Bred from our Sapphire Gem OE Hen and our chantecler partridge Cockerel.

Out of an entirely full incubator only one egg hatched and that was our Worrior chick Wario, aka The Golden Child. He holds 2 genes that of a chivken and a partridge. He took 23 day to hatch and needed some help being unceran wrapped.

I went and got 4 Barred Rock chicks to grow up with our Golden Child.

Well we have 2 chicks from the ISA/Red Sexlink mix! A 3rd started pipping! These are my hubbys eggs!

Halfway through the incubation process and all of our Ayam Cemani eggs have a fetus. This little guy/gal was the most formed and decided to dance around for us!! 🤩😍👌🐣 So blessed to be apart of this process in creating new life!
