Urgent transport and foster needed. Little Alice got the works done at the vet and desperately needs a foster home, at least until two fosters get back in a week or so. She needs someone home a lot or and a furry companion or two who like to play. She is only a year old and full of energy and love. If no one steps up, she will need transport to Norman by the end of the day. Please help if you can as boarding is not on her bingo card. I am praying she finds someone to help as it is getting very crowded at the Pugerosa. She is at Rockwell vet in OKC. Let's get this girl into a foster home at least for a week, or so. Help needed! this sweet girl was found wandering around in OKC. She is posted on several sites. I am not the finder but trying to find her family. She is at my vet. Can anyone I know temp house her for a few days just through the weekend if owners aren't located? I am pretty full here, but she needs to get out of the vet clinic today and either come here or have a temp foster. Please call or text if you can help this baby just for a few days at the most. 405-706-1492

Transport to Maine for seven pugs is on the road again but in a major traffic jam. They hunkered down in Carlisle Pa last night after a long day's drive. Trying to make it to Eddington today, but it will be a verry long drive. Let's encourage them with prayers and good wishes. Comments help keep our posts seen. Save travels to all!

Hello, my name is Lola and although I am not a showgirl, I am very cute. I'm only a year old and have been living outside on a chain. Because of that, I want to play and play and make up for lost time. I really need a foster, so I don't have to stay at the vet longer than necessary. I do need some potty training, but I am smart and a fast learner if given the chance. Can someone foster me even for a little while?? You need to be an approved foster or adopter and live in Oklahoma. We always need new fosters, so if not approved please complete the foster application on our website at www.homewardboundpugs.com to start the process Please help if you can. Mama Gail is full up and has a puppy with neurological issues. I promise I will be a good girl if you are kind and patient with me.

Oh my goodness. Is this really happening!! For some reason I am very teary eyed as I see the van and a pug or two that are already loaded up. They will be stopping at Rockwell Vet to pick up the other four. Please send prayers and good wishes for a safe and pleasant drive to Maine! Well with seven pugs maybe not pleasant but survivable. Thank you, Ronnie and Laurie, for driving a van load of pugs to their forever homes. I also want to give a huge thank you to the fosters that housed them, loved them and got them ready for their big adventure. And once again thanks to all that donated to the travel expenses to help make this happen.

Hi everybody! We are the lucky seven that a will be on our way to Maine tomorrow. Four of us have a forever home to go to and three will still be looking but will be in foster care. This is really happening!! We have our bags packed and are ready to roll. If all goes well, we should arrive in Maine by Wednesday. We want to thank all the folks that donated towards our expenses, and we made enough for all of us to have lots of treats! We can't wait to meet our new families and fosters. Mama Gail will try to post updates on our adventures.

Do you like our sign? Two will be on the van as we travel East. We will all meet tomorrow morning at Homeward Bound's vet in OKC. We can't wait!! See less

WE HAVE TRANSPORT!

I desperately need to get a pug picked up in Claremore on Monday after 4 and get to OKC. If that can happen, I will need a foster willing to overnight him and get him to my vet in OKC the next morning. This is a big ask but stranger things have happened. I need to move quickly on this. He isn't neutered but will be as soon as I can get him to my vet clinic.
Rocky is two years old and was purchased at Petland as a puppy I believe. He has had two other homes. He gets along with other dogs and cats. If anyone wants an adventure and can help Rocky please post here and/or call or text me at 405-706-1492. Please help if you can.

Hi everybody. My name is Elmo and I need a ride back to Norman tomorrow from Rockwell Vet Clinic They close at noon and I'm worried that no one will pick me up. My brain doesn't work very well, and I really want to get back to Mama Gail.
I was picked up by a kind lady on a very hot day. I didn't know where I was or why I was all alone. The kind lady saw that I walked funny and was pretty wobbly on my feet so she called Homeward Bound and they took me in. I was doing pretty good until I didn't want to eat or drink because I forgot how. I finally started eating some liquid food. I guess my future doesn't look very good but Mama Gail wants to give me a chance and that's what I want too. I am only four months old, and I still try to play and today I grabbed a little toy. Can someone please help me get back to Mama Gail tomorrow before noon?
