UPDATE: We are $125 from getting the $750 match. I am so excited. Please donate if you can.

Hi everybody. My name is Lily and I am the newest Homeward Bound rescue. As most of you know we are in the final days of our Holiday GoFundMe fundraiser. We are only $300 away from reaching our $750 match to reach this year's goal. Even though I am just a wee puppy, I have a very bad disease called calve-perthes-disease and I will be needing hip surgery plus my spay. The estimate is between $2500 and $3000 to fix my hip and let me run and play without any pain. I am humbly asking you to consider a donation to our fundraiser so part of the $$ can go towards my surgery and still pay our vet bills. Thanks so much!

Hi everybody! It's me Riley and I'm here at Aunt Melissa's with my best friends Boomer, Grover, and Hammie. Well Hammie doesn't really like friends but I'm hoping the Christmas spirit will move him to wanting to be my friend too.

I have more exciting news! Not only did we meet the $750 matching challenge before the deadline, but thanks to our wonderful supporters we exceeded it! We are now at $9475 on our gofundme. Do you know what this means?? We are only $25 away from $9500 and closing in on reaching our goal!!

Good morning everyone! My name is Riley and before I tell my story I have exciting news to share. Our GoFundMe is stalled out at $7500. I understand that you folks love a challenge. So, guess what? A wonderful supporter is offering to match up to $750 until Monday evening. If we reach that goal and get the match, we will be up to $9000! Boy oh boy that would be so cool. If you have been waiting to donate, this would be a great time to do so.

I came to Homeward Bound over three years ago from a very bad puppy making place. I was scared of everything for more than two years. I never knew humans could be kind, and never felt grass under my feet, had a toy or a bed and never got a kind touch. Finally, after two years, I allowed mama Gail to pick me up and put me on her lap. I wanted to jump down but I tried to be really brave and let her pet me. From that moment on I got a tiny bit braver every day and now I am brave enough to meet people and allow Auntie Melissa to hold me. Mama Gail said I can live here forever with her and all my puggy friends. Your donations help other pugs like me find their forever homes too.
