DOG FLU NOTICE

In light of the large breakout of Canine Influenza (ie. Dog Flu) in the OKC Metro area, we are taking the following precautions until further notice:

1. Out of precaution, we cannot admit dogs who show potential symptoms of Canine Influenza.
Please advise if you have noticed any of these.

- Coughing
- Sneezing
- Nasal discharge or runny eyes
- Lethargic behavior (compared to usual)

2. Please also call and advise us if you see any of these symptoms arise later after your dog has
visited our facility.

3. After discussing with Dr. John Otto DVM, we STRONGLY advise getting your dog the Canine Flu vaccine ASAP. He also recommends the Bordetella vaccine (kennel cough) every 6 months.

4. Any dog showing symptoms after arriving here will be quarantined from other dogs, and
owner immediately notified.

We will be closely monitoring this situation as information emerges and keep you informed via our staff, pages, and website. We have cleaning protocols that use bleach and a product called
“256” that specifically kills numerous canine viruses.
